    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner enabling stable combustion without the need for oxygen enrichment and heat in a heat treatment furnace up to a high temperature of 1800°C or higher.
      SOLUTION: A cap portion 5 having a fuel main blowout hole 51 and a fuel sub-blowout hole 52 is detachably mounted at an end 401 of a fuel pipe 4. During combustion with the burner 1, part of a fuel 101 passing through the fuel pipe 4 is blown out of the fuel sub-blowout hole 52 to a cooling passage 31, as a sub-blowout fuel 103, and mixed with cooling air 105 passing through the cooling passage 31 to form premixed gas 106. The premixed gas 106, a main blowout fuel 102 blown out of the fuel main blowout hole 51 and combustion air 104 blown out of an air blowout port 61 after passing through the air passage 21 are mixed together for combustion to generate heat in the heat treatment furnace 8.
