    • A pneumatic tire improving driving stability, road noise, riding comfort, and a fuel consumption performance in a balanced manner. The pneumatic tire includes: a bead filler made wider than a triangle formed by connecting its base and top in a cross-sectional view taken along a meridian of the tire; and a sheet-like auxiliary filler arranged from a sidewall portion to a bead portion, having thickness of 0.5 to 2.0 mm and formed of a material harder than neighboring rubber compositions excluding the bead filler. The top D of the bead filler is positioned lower than a point B1 and higher than a rim flange by at least 5 mm, a lower end C1 of the auxiliary filler is positioned higher than a point A1 and lower than a point E2, and an upper end C2 thereof is positioned lower than a point A2, apart from the point A2 by at least 10 mm, and higher than a point B2.

    • A pneumatic tire reducing road noise without deteriorating durability and rolling resistance. In this pneumatic tire, the bead filler includes a triangle portion abutting a bead core and having a substantially triangular cross-sectional shape, and a uniform-thickness portion extending from a top of the triangle portion in a radially outward direction of the tire and having a substantially uniform thickness. An upper-end position of the uniform-thickness portion is outward, in a radial direction of the tire, from a position 1.6 times as high as the height of the triangle portion, and is at least 5 mm apart from the belt layers. A thickness of the uniform-thickness portion is thicker than 0.1 mm and thinner than 0.5 times a lower-end width of the triangle portion. The bead filler includes a plurality of rubber layers formed of mutually different rubber compositions. The rubber compositions forming these rubber layers have loss tangents (tan δ) gradually decreasing from the outermost-periphery rubber layer toward the innermost-periphery rubber layer, are harder than other rubber compositions neighboring the bead filler, and have breaking elongations whose mutual differences are 50% points or less.

The sound absorbing member includes a first sound absorbing layer placed on a tire inner surface side thereof and a second sound absorbing layer placed on a tire reverse inner surface side thereof, with the second sound absorbing layer being disposed on the first sound absorbing layer. The second sound absorbing layer has a density lower than that of the first sound absorbing layer.
