    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column for liquid chromatography and its preparation method which can attain low channel resistance and full separation performance.
      SOLUTION: In the method, an organic monolith column is prepared by photopolymerization for a period of 100-240 seconds, at light intensity of 100-250 mW/cm
      2 under a low temperature range of -30 to 0°C. After the photopolymerization, the column is cleaned with methanol, so that "fragile" portion of column center is destroyed, and a huge through-hole is formed inside the column. As a result, as shown in (b) and (c) of Fig., a winding huge through-hole is formed at the center, allowing preparation of the column for liquid chromatography with a monolithic structure formed around the huge through-hole.
