摘要： Embodiments of a base station and method for reducing asynchronous interference in a multi-tier OFDMA overlay network are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a lower-tier base station is configured to adjust OFDMA frame boundaries to cause frames communicated by a higher-tier to arrive within a cyclic prefix at the lower-tier base station. The lower-tier base station may also be configured to adjust OFDMA frame boundaries to cause frames communicated by a lower-tier of the network to arrive within a cyclic prefix at a higher-tier mobile station. Accordingly, frames from one tier may arrive within the cyclic prefix of another thereby reducing asynchronous interference.

摘要： Embodiments of the disclosure provide auto-detection in wireless telecommunications. Certain embodiments provide or otherwise implement a specific sequence of bits and/or symbols for auto-detection. The specific sequence of bits can be embodied in or can include output codebits from an encoder in a communication device that can send a wireless transmission including the specific sequence. In one embodiment, the encoder can compute or otherwise generate cyclic redundancy checks (CRCs) or other types of validation checks at the communication device. The specific sequence can be determined using the payload of a packet frame. Both the manner in which the specific sequence is generated and the temporal order in which the specific sequence is received relative to other payload in the packet frame can provide specificity to the sequence.

摘要： A delegate-based group channel access method is disclosed for machine-to-machine (M2M) communication. The delegate-based group channel access method groups M2M devices having common characteristics together, assigns a single delegate or multiple delegates from the group according to some criteria, and uses the assigned delegate to perform channel access. This method avoids unnecessary peer-to-peer communication between M2M devices reduces the probability of collision on the channel during initial channel access, and reduces the control signaling overhead. The, delegate-based group channel access method also coordinates the number of slots to backoff so that all M2M devices in the group keep pace with the delegate.

摘要： An embodiment of the present invention provides a method of quick access channel information loading in wireless networks, comprising mapping at least one quick access channel to one distributed resource unit of control tiles, said control tiles being spread across consecutive sub-carriers and consecutive OFDMA symbols, wherein each control tile and a predetermined number of sub carriers are used to send a bandwidth indicator and a predetermined number of sub carriers are used to send a bandwidth request message, and wherein there exist unique orthogonal sequences for the bandwidth indicator and each of the sequences are capable of being selected as a preamble sequence.

摘要： Disclosed in some examples are devices (e.g., APs, STAs, and the like), methods, and machine readable mediums which provide for proper channel estimation and frame reception in Uplink MU-MIMO systems by changing the way transmission parameters from the VHT-SIG-A are communicated to the recipients in the preamble. The transmission parameters contained in the VHT-SIG-A field may be communicated to the STAs in advance of the MU-MIMO transmissions. In other examples the transmission parameters contained in the VHT-SIG-A field may be moved to locations in the preamble that come after the VHT-STF and VHT-LTF so that the transmission parameters may be decoded.
