    • The present disclosure relates to a front fork guard (1) for protecting a front fork dampener. The front fork guard (1) comprises an elongated shield part (2) and a fastening arrangement (3) for fastening the front fork guard (1) to a motorcycle or mountain bike. The front fork guard (1) further comprises a connection element (4). The elongated shield part (2) and the fastening arrangement (3) are connected to each other with the connection element (4) such that the elongated shield part (2) and the fastening arrangement (3) are pivotable relative each other between a closed position in which they abut and an open position. The front fork guard (1) further comprises a locking mechanism (5) arranged to hold the elongated shield part (2) and the fastening arrangement (3) in the closed position when engaged.
