    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flame from blowing out and extinguishing at an initial stage of ignition even in the case that a combustion is carried out under an environment of low temperature in the winter season and further to enable a stable combustion to be positively carried out. SOLUTION: A petroleum atomization combustion device is comprised of at least a blower fan 70 for supplying combustion air, an atomization nozzle 20 for atomizing fuel and applying it to combustion, a petroleum supplying pipe passage 23, pumps 24, 26 for feeding petroleum toward the atomization nozzle 20 through the petroleum supplying pipe passage 23, a flow rate control valve 25 arranged in the petroleum supplying pipe passage 23 and adjusting a degree of opening to adjust an amount of atomization of fuel flowed from the atomization nozzle 20, an ignitor 50, a flame sensor 60 and a controller 80 for use in controlling each of the segments of other devices. In this case, as the controlling constitution of the controller 80, an air-fuel ratio is set to be lower than a value at a normal combustion time for a specified period of time after the ignition is confirmed by the flame sensor 60.

    • PURPOSE:To produce two kinds of rich flame and lean flame alternatively, improve a flame holding characteristic and stabilize a combustion of each of these flames by a method wherein a combustion pipe is divided by a central separation wall into both a rich gas passage and a lean gas passage, both flame ports are formed into corrugation and then both rich flame port and lean flame port are alternatively formed. CONSTITUTION:A combustion pipe 11 is comprised of a pair of right and left outer walls forming a throat part and a flame port, and of a central separating wall 12. A passage is divided by the separating wall 12 into a right one and a left one, i.e., a rich gas passage 13 and a lean gas passage 14, respectively. Flame ports 15 at the separating wall 12 are formed into corrugations. In addition, rich gas flame ports 16 and the lean gas ports 17 are alternatively formed. With such an arrangement as above, two kinds of rich and lean gas flames are alternatively formed to improve a flame holding characteristic. In turn, a pressure reducing wall 21 is arranged at an outside part of the flame port of the combustion pipe 1 through a flame holding gap 20, and a through-pass hole 22 for use in supplying rich gas from a rich gas passage 13 into the pressure reducing wall 21 is formed at a lower part of the rich flame ports 16. With such an arrangement as above, the rich gas flame is generated above the flame holding gap 20 so as to further improve the flame holding characteristic.

    • PURPOSE:To increase a width of combustion and to reduce noise by forming to partition a plurality of mixing chambers by a partition wall under a burner port plate having many burner ports, providing air injection ports at the respective chambers, providing a gas supply unit for supplying excessively thick mixed gas, and providing gas concentrations of the respective chambers so as to be high at a central part and lower toward ends. CONSTITUTION:A burner port plate 3 having many burner ports 2 is partitioned at a lower part to form a plurality of mixing chambers 5. An air passage 6 is disposed under the chambers 5, and the air is supplied to the chambers 5 through air injection holes 8 formed at a straightening plate 7. A gas supply passage 9 is connected to the chambers 5. Excessively thick mixed gas generated from a mixing chamber 10 formed on the way is supplied to the chambers 5. Gas concentrations of the mixed gases of the chambers 5 are so set as to be 1.0 or more at excess air ratio of a center and 1.0 or less at the ratio of an end to thickly and thinly burn on the plate 3 of upper surfaces of the chambers 5.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an atomizing burner having a sufficiently large combustion allowance width even in a small area of fuel flow rate by suppressing generation of soot existing in burnt gas. CONSTITUTION:An atomizing burner comprises a flame stabilizer 22 having a swirl blade 22b and mounted at a base end side of a burning cylinder 7, atomizes fuel from a fuel injection valve 11 together with primary air for burning via a through hole 22a of the stabilizer 22 into the cylinder 7, and supplies secondary air for burning into the cylinder 7 via the stabilizer to burn in the cylinder 7. The stabilizer 22 has a tapered enlarged cylinder 22h enlarged forward and interposed on an outer periphery of the hole 22a, the blade 22b disposed on the outer periphery of the cylinder 22h, and a plurality of air pores 22i provided at the cylinder 22h to diffuse the air obliquely from the periphery toward a central axis of the burning cylinder.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the function of holding main flames in a thick and thin fuel combustion type combustion apparatus to stabilize the main flames and to reduce the loads on burner ports and combustion noise. CONSTITUTION:A thin fuel-air mixed gas passage 6 is separated from a thick fuel-air mixed gas passage 7 by a partition wall 5 on which protruding pipes 8 are provided. The inside of the protruding pipe 8 serves as the thin fuel-air mixed gas passages 6 and the surrounding as the thick fuel-air mixed gas passage 7. A clearance 9 is formed between the upper ends of the protruding pipes 8 and a burner port plate 9. The thin and thick fuel-air mixed gases are mixed up together in the clearance above the upper ends of the protruding pipes 8, and flames with high combustion rates are formed on the burner port plate 9, so that the function of holding the main flames is improved to stabilize the main flames and to reduce the loads on the burner ports and combustion noise.
