    • A film cartridge storage apparatus for storing a stack of film cartridges (20). The stored film cartridges (20) are extracted from the apparatus sequentially starting with the lowermost cartridge by means of a pivotal member (83) of an individual feed mechanism (80;180;280) having a first arm portion (83a) and a second arm portion (83b). The first arm portion (83a) of the pivotal member (83) is pivotable between a first area and a second area and functions to hold the lowermost film cartridge in the first area and also to feed the lowermost film cartridge in the second area. The second arm portion (83b) of the pivotal member functions to allow a film cartridge to fall toward the first arm portion in the first area and also to prevent a film cartridge from falling toward the first arm portion in the second area. An elastic escape means (90;190;290) is provided for avoiding mutual interference between a film cartridge contacting the second arm portion and a pivotal locus of the second arm portion in the course of the pivotal movement of the second arm portion from the first area to the second area.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely improve image quality by surely eliminating streak unevenness in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction without the occurrence of a cost increase when an LCD 2 varying in the width of BMs longitudinally and transversely is used. SOLUTION: The LCD 2, a double refractive plate 4 and a pixel offsetting mechanism are at least disposed on an optical path connecting a lamp 1 and photographic paper 7. After the light obtained via a light control region of the LCD 2 is elongated in the transversely direction of a light non-control region wider in width at the double refractive plate 4, the photographic paper 7 is exposed. As a result, even if the accuracy of the pixel offsetting degrades, the overlap quantity of the exposed pixels adjacent in the transverse direction of the light non-control region wider in the width and a corresponding direction on the photographic paper 7 surely overlaps by as much as the component that the exposed pixels spread in the same direction. This overlap quantity is also made nearly the same by adequately setting the thickness of the double refractive plate 4.

    • PURPOSE: To accurately remove dust on a dust removing object surface by removing dust taken in from the dust removing object surface by the dust removing action surface of a dust-proofing member and performing dust removing action to the dust removing object surface again in a state where the dust is removed by the dust removing action surface. CONSTITUTION: A dust removing device DR for photographic film 2 is provided in a carrying path for the film 2, and both sides of the film 2 are the dust removing object surfaces 2a. The dust removing device DR is equipped with an upper brush belt 40 and a lower brush belt 41 functioning as the dust removing member RD, a sucking means DS being a dust removing means DE, and a driving means BD driving and rotating the upper and the lower brush belts 40 and 41. By the driving of the driving means BD, an endless belt-like outer peripheral surface is successively and repeatedly moved as the dust removing action surface to the position of the dust removing action being a position crossing with the carrying path for the film 2, and comes into contact with the dust removing object surface 2a of the film 2 so as to perform the dust removing action.
