摘要： The present invention relates to a resource allocation method, network controller device and a switching control device allocating resources to a subscriber of a communication network, wherein at least one allowed codec type is selected for the subscriber based on a relative priority information received from the communication network, e.g., from the switching control device (40). The selected at least one allowed codec type is signaled towards a terminal device (10) of the subscriber. Thereby, priority-based user differentiation can be introduced to provide different quality of service based on the allocated relative priority. This allows maintaining high quality services even in high load or low signal strength environments.

In the method a user equipment communicating with a first network is transferred from the first network to a second network providing resources to a plurality of operators. After initiation of the transfer, an operator is selected for the user equipment amongst the plurality of operators. A controller of the second network is then provided with information regarding the identity of the selected operator, and the user equipment is transferred to the second network. 摘要： A mechanism for performing routing in a communication system including a radio access network and a plurality of core networks connected to the radio access network. In order to accomplish a mechanism whereby the routing of a registration request to a serving core network, and also the rejection of a registration request, can be carried out in a controlled manner, a core network is first selected for a registration request received. The registration request is then forwarded to the selected core network and, in response to at least one predetermined criterion being fulfilled, the selected core network is notified that the registration request is to be served by that core network, i.e. that the registration request cannot be rerouted to another core network.

摘要： A method, a system, or an article of manufacture provides Mobility Management (MM), an update procedure, in a Core Network (CN) of a mobile communication system. The Mobile Station (MS) includes an indicator which defines an update type. The update type includes: all CN entities; one type of CN entity only. If the indicator has the update type of all CN entities, the MS registers all CN entities. If the indicator has the update type of one type of CN entity only, the MS registers the one type of CN entity only. The CN entities may be MSC/VLR CN entity, SGSN CN entity, or other CN entity. The method includes the MS determining to which of the CN entity to perform the update procedure; the MS updating the CN entity; the CN acknowledging the MS whether update is successful or failed; and the CN acknowledging the MS whether update of other CN entity is needed, if needed, the CN defining to which of the CN entity to perform update, and continuing the update of the defined CN entity. The MS does not have to know the services subscribed to a user, nor does the MS have to know the configuration of the CN.
