摘要： Methods, apparatuses, and systems are provided for modem coordination. A method may include establishing a coordinated communication session with a base station on a first communication channel. The method may further include causing transmission, to the base station, of an indication of an occurrence of an irregular transmission of data on a second communication channel. The second communication channel may be with a station logically separated from the base station. The base station maybe configured to respond to the indication of the occurrence of the irregular transmission by modifying transmission on the first communication channel to avoid interfering with the irregular transmission. The method may additionally include causing transmission, to the base station, of an indication of completion of the irregular transmission to allow the base station to resume normal transmission on the first communication channel. Corresponding apparatuses and systems are also provided.

According to a first embodiment of the invention, the intended intersystem reselection behavior is reached without signaling changes. This can be a preferred mode for early implementations because signaling changes always take a longer time to reach the products on the field (both mobile and network updates are normally required). 摘要： A UE performs pilot measurements over a frequency sub-band of a serving cell and adjacent cells based on pilot symbols. In an interference coordination scheme, the UE is classified into a cell edge or a cell center UE based on a channel quality measurement. For downlink data reception, the UE in the cell edge is allocated a cell edge sub-band and the UE in the cell center is allocated a cell center sub-band. If the UE is in the cell edge of the serving cell, the UE performs pilot measurement over the cell edge sub-band of the serving cell and the cell edge sub-band of adjacent cells. If the UE is in the cell center, the UE performs pilot measurement over the cell center sub-band of the serving cell. When the UE is in the cell edge, it performs measurement at a higher rate than when it is in the cell center.

摘要： Relative sizes of neighbor cells are identified, and measurement reporting of the neighbor cells is differentiated in dependence on at least the relative size. In one embodiment the relative sizes are identified by a frequency layer and/or physical cell identity sent by a serving cell. The differentiated reporting may be implemented by using different values, based on the relative sizes, of a measurement or reporting parameter or a scaling factor (such as T reselection or time to trigger) which adjusts either of those parameters. In one embodiment the differentiated measurement reporting is conditional on a user equipment which sends the measurement reports being classified as fast moving, and in another is further conditional on it also having no active data transfer applications ongoing. In various embodiments, detecting and measuring of small neighbor cells (and thus their reporting)is omitted, or measurements can be collected normally and only the reporting is omitted.

A method is provided in which a mobile terminal obtains system information from a neighboring base station. 摘要： This invention describes a method for a new methodology for improving a high speed downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH) transport format allocation in communication systems (e.g., mobile phone networks) using, e.g., a network element such as a node B. As CQI (channel quality indicator) reports made by a user terminal are time stamped in a sense that they correspond to a given reference period, the Node B is able to determine what time instant in the past the given CQI report corresponds to. As the Node B scheduler knows a history of HS-DSCH transmission, it is able to determine how much HS-DSCH power was transmitted during the time corresponding to the received CQI report. Based on this information, it determines the bias required to the CQI reports received at different times to improve an accuracy of the allocated HS-DSCH transport format.
