摘要： A method, an apparatus and a communication system for collision detection for a random access procedure for an uplink data channel. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a module (14) configured to transmit a data transmission (32c) on the uplink data channel, and an uplink scheduling and signal generating module (12) configured to select random access parameters for a random access procedure and schedule the data transmission (32c) using the random access parameters for the random access procedure. The uplink scheduling and signal generating module (12) is also configured to interrupt the data transmission (32c) after a predetermined time interval if the apparatus does not receive a permission signal (36b) from a network element during the predetermined time interval.

摘要： Apparatus, methods and computer program products in a wireless communications system provide an enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) for use by user equipment operating in the wireless communications system for use in conjunction with the random access procedure. The user equipment has circuitry to request a HS random access channel and, in response to receiving an assignment from a Node B of a dedicated mode channel for use as the random access channel, to send uplink data in a random access fashion over the assigned dedicated mode channel while receiving feedback from the Node B over at least one downlink L1 feedback channel. 摘要： To prevent oscillation of the load on a radio interface between a user equipment device and a base station of a non-serving cell scheduled in a decentralized way by a base station of a serving cell, a centralized control action is performed by a radio network controller to reduce load congestion on the radio interface in the non-serving cell. Oscillation in a load might otherwise exist over the radio interface due to the decentralized scheduling trying to maintain a high degree of load in all cells combined with independent control action thy the non-serving cell to reduce the load congestion.

摘要： The application relates to the removal of one of the links in multi-flow HSPA but the proposed method is also applicable to normal HSDPA operation during handover. In particular the application aims at minimizing the negative impact of a removed radio link, i.e. drop of packets and/or delays. According to the proposed method, in which the radio link to be removed is via a first Node B NB1 (RL Removal Req), the NB1 ends the pending data transmission and informs the controlling RNC about the data which was not transmitted, in particular in the form of the lowest sequence number in its buffer. Subsequently, the RNC decides, based on this sequence number, which data packets need to be retransmitted on a second radio link via a second node B NB2, and instructs NB2 accordingly (Data Forwarding).

摘要： A set of power control step size increments are determined such that at least two step size increments differ from one another. The set is sent to a Mobile Station MS. A first power command to the MS informs of a first power for a uplink data transmission on a radio resource (E-DPDCH). To change power on the same radio resource, an offset is computed, the set of step size increments is accessed to determine which one, or combination of them, yield the offset, and the MS is informed of the second power by a second message that identifies those elements of the set that alone or in combination yield the offset. The MS determines the second power as a function of the first power and the step size increment(s) from the second message.

摘要： Apparatus, methods and computer program products provide fast instantaneous overload control during scheduling operations involving users in a wireless communications network who are candidates to be scheduled in a next transmission time interval. Apparatus detect congestion conditions in a wireless communications network by determining an instantaneous operating region of a scheduler (e.g., a medium access control-high speed scheduler) based on required activity detection and prioritize users in a scheduling candidate set based on the cost of a user. In a variant, this may be implemented by combining part of the required activity detection algorithm with a per- bearer cost function. In one implementation, this will limit the number of users that suffer during momentary congestion in the wireless communications network.
