摘要： A technique is disclosed for wireless communications networks, to solve problems of channel congestion. A wireless communications device selects a channel finding technique in a first stage. The device then performs the selected channel finding technique with a plurality of channels to find a candidate channel. Then the initiating device sends a request to at least one remote device to change its channel from the current channel to the candidate channel during a time slot within a repeating time interval. Then in a second stage, the initiating device selects a channel changing technique based on whether the device has any active connections in the current channel. The initiating device then executes the selected channel changing technique.

摘要： A system and method for efficiently enabling local security connectivity between electronic devices over multiple bearers. Electronic devices are configured to advertise, over each bearer, their respective configuration parameters for each bearer. After a connection has been established between the electronic devices over a first bearer, the two electronic devices use the first bearer to establish connections over the other bearers using the configuration parameters contained in the advertisements and advertised over the first bearer. Shared keys are established for the other bearers either using keys derived from the first shared key or by using the first secure connection as an out-of-band channel. The present invention also provides for the creation of an ad hoc WLAN connection once a Bluetooth connection has been established.

摘要： The present invention provides techniques for responding to overlapping conditions in wireless communications networks include receiving data transmissions from a transmitting device across a wireless communications network. These data transmissions correspond to a connection with the transmitting device and occur within a reserved portion of a communications resource.
