    • Various embodiments are disclosed relating to techniques for managing interference among nodes (104, 108, 110, 204, 208, 210, 220) in a wireless network (102). According to an example embodiment, a first measurement of a first interference activity may be determined (1110) at a first wireless node in a wireless network. A determination may be made (1120) that the first interference activity is unacceptable based on the first measurement. A first interference report (1070) including an indication (1018) of the unacceptable first interference activity may be sent (1130) to a second wireless node (104, 108, 110, 204, 208, 210, 220) for transmission to a base station (104, 204) for processing by the base station. According to an example embodiment, an interference report (1070) including an indication (1018) of an unacceptable first interference activity for a first wireless node in a wireless network may be received. At least one adaptation parameter value may be determined based on the interference report. An adaptation message including the at least one adaptation parameter may be transmitted.

    • Various example embodiments are disclosed relating to feedback and link adaptation techniques for wireless networks. According to an example embodiment, an apparatus may include a processor or controller. The controller may be configured to determine a channel quality indication (CQI) value for each of a plurality of wireless sub-channels, discard any of the CQI values older than a threshold time, leaving a set of current CQI values, determine a percentile CQI value based on the set of current CQI values, and transmit the percentile CQI value to an infrastructure node. The infrastructure node, may, for example, determine or select one or more data transmission parameters, such as a modulation scheme and/or coding rate, based at least in part on the received percentile CQI value.
