    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protecting sheet for an automobile coating film, hardly generating wrinkles, etc., on coating work of the automobile coating film and capable of bonding in a good closely adhering state. SOLUTION: This protecting sheet for an automobile coating film has a polyisobutylene-based adhesive layer consisting of an isobutylene-based polymer as a base polymer on the one side surface of a supporting substrate, and the adhesive layer is surface coated with an acrylic polymer. The protecting sheet can be bonded to the automobile coating film in a good adhesive power in a state without having wrinkles, etc., and easily peeled off even on sticking the adhesive layers themselves to each other, and is excellent in cover working property. It can cover a hardly adherent automobile coating film having an excellent water repelling property and soiling resistance with a good adhesive strength, hardly has the elevation of adhesive strength with time after the covering and is easily re-peeled off from the automobile coating film after achieving the objective of the protection without leaving a residual adhesive. It also hardly generates an adhesion mark after the re-peeling caused by the deformation of the automobile coating film such as a fine coating film gap, etc., tending to be formed at an end part of the protecting sheet or a mingled-in bubble part even by repeating the expansion and shrinkage, etc., of the protecting sheet caused by the temperature change during transportation in outdoors.
