摘要： A storage battery terminal structure of the present invention includes: an annular recessed groove that is arranged on an upper end portion of a cylindrical male terminal; retaining projections that are engageable with the annular recessed groove; a housing that is an outer enclosing body of a female terminal; flexible arms, each flexible arm not only having a retaining projection on an upper end portion of an inner wall of a rigid sleeve of the housing surrounding the male terminal in order to release the corresponding retaining projection from the annular recessed groove but also being formed by a pair of slits formed from an upper end of the rigid sleeve so as to interpose the corresponding retaining projection therebetween; and a release button that is arranged on an upper end portion of the rigid sleeve so as to be vertically movable so that the flexible arms can be flexed sidewards and that has slopes on a lower surface thereof, the slopes facing sidewards. An indicator is also disclosed that reveals when the male terminal has been completely inserted into a hole of the female terminal.

摘要： A connection structure for a storage battery has a plug extending vertically on a surface of the main body, a bush connector with a hole for the plug and a crimp section for the cable, an annular channel at the top of the plug, a housing serving as a sleeve for the bush, a retaining mechanism for the bush containing the annular channel and a release mechanism located inside a rigid bush of the housing surrounding the other bush. The retaining mechanism has projections which are arranged around the peripheral section of the second bush. The release mechanism has flexible arms, each formed by a pair of slits that are unlatched from the upper end of the second bush.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a female terminal to a male terminal in a single operation without requiring a fastening action by hooking a hook lug provided on a housing serving as the outer shell of the female terminal on a circular recessed groove provided on the male terminal when the female terminal is connected to the male terminal. SOLUTION: A female terminal 4 caulked with an electric wire W at an electric wire caulk section 6 is assembled while being surrounded by a housing 9, a release button 15, and a corrosion-proof cover 21, then the male terminal insertion hole 5 of the female terminal 4 is thrust from above to a male terminal 3 together with a vertical tube 10. A hook lug 12 is kept in contact with a taper section at the upper end of the male terminal 3, a flexible arm 14 is flexed to the side, the hook lug 12 is hooked on a circular recessed groove 7 and excited via a spring 20, and the female terminal 4 is connected to the male terminal 3. When the female terminal 4 is to be released from the male terminal 3, the release button 15 is pressed downward, a slant face 16 pushes a slant face 17 to the side, the flexible arm 14 is flexed to the side, the hook lug 12 is released from the circular recessed groove 7, and the female terminal 4 is lifted upward and drawn in this state.

In the second connector housing, a pair of engagement detecting metal terminals are provided in confrontation with the shorting contactor. When the first and second connector housings are incompletely engaged with each other, the shorting contactor is not in contact with the engagement detecting metal terminals by the displacement of elastic contact plate which is due to the displacement of the flexible locking arm.
