    • PURPOSE: To form the painted film on a surface to be painted to a uniform thickness in a painting method for the surface having a level difference, by enabling the positioning of all spray guns at the same spray distance from the surface to be painted at all times during painting.
      CONSTITUTION: A pulse generator is so set as to transmit one pulse when a vehicle body advances by, for example, 1cm, from the position of the limit switch in the inlet of a painting booth, and the parameters for spray guns relating to the height of respective spray guns 7a, 7b corresponding to the advance position of the vehicle body, painting colors, etc. are preset as a program in a storage device. Then, the 1st and the 2nd spray guns 7a, 7b are controlled so as to advance at a spray distance l on a hood 8 according to pulse counting.

    • PURPOSE: To form the parting line of a sill part to a definite linear shape without masking, by floating a skid which supports a body from a carriage during painting and maintaining the same at a specified height.
      CONSTITUTION: A skid 2 which supports a body 1 is placed on a carriage 5, and is propelled by a chain device 9 and is moved to the set position of a levelizer 13. When the skid is ridden over the levelizer 13 by a ski member 12, the skid 2 floats apart by a distance (d) from the carriage 5, but the length of the perpendicular surface of a guide member 14 in contact with the end part of the skid is longer than the distance (d); therefore, the skid 2 is still propelled. Since the skid 2 is propelled on the levelizer 13 in this stage, the height from the floor surface is made constant and the parting line in the sill part 1a of the body 1 is maintained at a specified height. Here, an automatic spray painting machine 15 is moved in the direction opposite from the advance direction of the skid while the specified height is maintained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an integrated coating film excellent in rust-proof property by assembling an Al member subjected to preliminary zinc phosphate pretreatment into a steel product and successively performing zinc phosphate pretreatment, undercoating, intercoating and topcoating. CONSTITUTION:After wiping off press oil, rust-proof oil and dust, etc., stuck on the surface of an Al member, degreasing with a solvent and washing with water, a coated phosphate film having a passive state is formed on the surface by performing preliminary chemical conversion treatment with a zinc phosphate pretreating agent. Then the Al member obtained after the above-mentioned treatment is washed with water and thereafter it is heated at about 100 deg.C and dried. Thereafter the Al member finished with chemical treatment as in the above-mentioned method is assembled into a white body consisting of a steel product before pretreatment. Then after again subjecting the Al member assembled into the steel product to chemical treatment with the zinc phosphate pretreating agent, an integrated coating film excellent in rustproof properties is formed on the surface of the Al member by successively performing an ordinary coating process such as undercoating, intercoating and topcoating.
