    • PURPOSE:To accurately measure the sectional shape and bend of a pipe by passing through a spherical marker applying an eccentricity on a photographed face as a bending index, and fixing a solid shaft connected to a camera through a universal joint to the center of the end face of a measuring section whose profile changes along the inside section of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A solid shaft 23 passing through a spherical marker 20 is fixed to the center of the end face of a measuring section 19 at its one end, and connected to a camera 22 through a universal joint 21 at the other end. The camera 22 is connected to a data accumulater 4 and a monitor 5. The measuring section 19 is formed with a sponge so as to deform along a pipe and has a drum-shaped external form, and its influence face turns toward the camera 22, and a concentric circular pattern centering around the shaft 23 is drawn on it. When the pipe is bent, eccentricity occurs between the spherical marker 20 and the measuring section 19, and the quantity of eccentricity is read from a positional slippage between a concentric circle drawn on a photographed plane and the marker 20 to determine the curvature of the pipe. When a recess exists in the pipe, the photographed plane changes in its shape, and the outside profile shape of the concentric pattern coincides with the sectional shape of the pipe. Thus, the quantity of recess can be obtained from the profile shape.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary data from being inputted by putting a pulse generating circuit in an operation stop state when it is decided that reception intensity found from the received signal of a reflected wave is less than specific permissible reception intensity. CONSTITUTION:The buried body detecting device sets the reception intensity corresponding to the 0.24 intensity rate of the reflected wave in, for example, a comparator 15 as the permissible reception intensity. Then when the intensity rate WRP of the maximum amplitude intensity in the range of the arrival time Tc+ or -DELTAT of the received reflected wave is less than 0.24, an electromagnetic wave transmission stop switch 16 holds an initialized recovery state and the transmission of an electromagnetic wave is carried on. When the intensity rate WRP of the maximum amplitude intensity in the range of the arrival time Tc+ or -DELTAT of the received reflected wave is equal to or less than 0.24, the electromagnetic wave transmission stop switch 16 operates to disconnect a pulse generating circuit 11, stopping the transmission of the electromagnetic wave. Consequently, unnecessary data is prevented from being inputted.
