The liquid sent to the spray head 7 is formed into a film, receives the vibration energy and is formed into extremely fine droplets by strong surface vibration and these droplets are shaken off from the vibration surface to be discharged and expanded in coating width on the object 8 to be coated by an air blowoff nozzle 6.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture a chromate-treated steel sheet with excellent corrosion inhibitive properties and the long life of an organic solvent paint by recycling a high-temperature exhaust air originating from dryer equipment for an organic paint coated steel sheet for a chromate-coated film drier, and controlling the temperature of the chromate-coated steel sheet to a specified range. CONSTITUTION:When a dryer 9 is newly installed following the provision of a new chromate film coating coater, a high-temperature exhaust air originating from an existing dryer 1 for an organic paint-coated steel sheet through an deodorizing furnace 4, is allowed to branch off by an air feed blower 10 before a flue for the existing dryer 1, and then is blown out to a steel sheet using the newly installed dryer 9. In addition, an air is mixed into the hot blast with the help of an exhaust air thermometer 11 and an air damper 12 in order to ensure a temperature control of the exhaust air for blowoff. Further, the temperature of the chromate-coated steel sheet is controlled by the hot blast from the existing dryer 1 so that said temperature stands at 60 to 100 deg.C. After that, a exhaust air blower 13 for exhausting an air from the newly installed dryer 9 and a flue 14 are provided to allow the exhaust air into the atmosphere.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity for feeding of combustion gas to a newly set drier and make a setting space at a working site small by communicating a deodorizing oven of an existing drier with a newly set drier by means of a duct in a surface treatment line for a steel sheet provided with two units of coating devices and driers. CONSTITUTION:An existing drier 1 is for drying the liquid applied to a steel sheet by an existing coater 7, and consists of an air feeding blower 2 for feeding the air for burning the gas from a gas burner of the existing drier 1, an existing blower 3 for exhasting the gas after burning, a deodorizing oven 4 for burning natural gas and the like in the exhaust gas, a heat exchanger 5 for the air to be fed and the exhaust gas and a chimney 6. In the case of a newly set drier 9 to be set following the newly set coater 8, high temperature exhaust gas passed through the deodorizing oven 4 of the existing drier 1 is branched at the front of the chimney 6 by means of a duct 15 provided with an existing blower 10 and sprayed to the steel by the newly set drier 9.
