    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the automatic weighing control for the setting the gross weight of a portion of N number of corrugated board boxes filled with a plurality of steel balls of given size within the preset weight control reference value. SOLUTION: In a control method in which the gross weight of a portion of N number of corrugated board boxes filled with steel balls of given size is set within the preset weight control reference value, in the case the actual result weighing value of weighting steel balls weighed by a weighing device 3 and filled into one corrugated board box on a storage section 2 is out of the range of preset weight control reference value, the excessive weight portion out of the range is converted to the number of steel balls by a computing element 7, and a feeder 1 is controlled in consideration of the computed number of steel balls in the following filling operation, and the steel balls of the converted number are filled into the corrugated board boxes to set the gross weight of the N number of corrugated board boxes within the range of the preset weight control reference value. The number of steel balls filled into one corrugated box is determined based on the comparison with the actual weighing value with the preset weight control reference value to accurately control the gross weight of N number of boxes to be set within a certain weight control reference value, save the labor of manual filling work and realize the labor-saving and working efficiency.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil inventory check method capable of automatically and easily checking difference between inventory data and actual inventory without stocktaking of all coils, and narrowing a portion for actual stocktaking without stocktaking of all coils even if difference may exist. SOLUTION: A computer controls an automatic crane of the coil yard and runs yard information management based on the inventory data such as the center coordinate data of a skid, the center coordinate data of the coil, and floor surface height data. This computer system extracts a coil C1 having no coil on it based on the inventory data, and calculates error between a measured value by an automatic crane of upper surface height P1 of the extracted coil and a calculated value of upper surface height of the coil derived based on the inventory data. When the error exceeds a predetermined tolerance, the system checks whether or not the inventory data matches with actual inventory in relation to a stacked coil group having the measured coil as a vertex.

A vertical movement of the rotation chain 1 is controlled based on shelf location data of the calculation device and desired shelf width is maintained.
