摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the title device to treat mechanically, to improve centering accuracy and to stabilize operation, by a method wherein the title device follows passes of a sheet material and conveying material and centering of the sheet material and conveying material are performed independently. CONSTITUTION:When supply of a sheet S is completed, a steel sheet pile A is supplied to a pass line by a conveyor device B. In this instance, the steel sheet pile A passes through between copy rolls 8 whose distance between the rolls is set up beforehand in accordance with dimensions in width of the steel sheet pile A and set up so that the center of the distance between the rolls is situated at the center of a copy device 2. Therefore, when the pass line of the steel sheet pile A is varied, the whole of the copy device 2 is moved in a right and left directions through its reaction force. The copy device 2 is actuated by following after the variation of a position of the steel sheet pile A like this and the center of the copy device 2 keeps always a relation where the center of the copy device 2 is coordinated with that of the steel sheet pile A. On the other hand, centering of the sheet material S with the copy device 2 is performed. Therefore, the sheet material S and steel sheet pile A have relation where the centers of both of them coincide with each other and the centering between both of them is established through the copy device 2.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a rail free from softened part and excellent in resistance to damage and wear at a low cost, by subjecting the railhead end composed of a steel with a specific composition to forced cooling from the temp. of austenitic range after the conclusion of hot rolling. CONSTITUTION:The railhead end consisting of 0.55-0.85% C, 0.20-1.20% Si, 0.50-1.65% Mn, and the balance Fe is subjected to forced cooling from the temp. of austenitic range after the conclusion of hot rolling between 800 deg.C and 450 deg.C at 1-4 deg.C/sec cooling rate. In this way, the above is completely free from formation of softened part and, moreover, deterioration in hardness in the boundary between the heat-treated and non-heat-treated parts can be retarded to a greater extent than heretofore. Further, vibration and impact at the end during the passage of trains can be minimized. In addition, retained heat of the rail after not rolling can be intactly utilized, so that this material contributes to energy saving, and besides, a handling stage for reheat treatment can be simplified.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable the trimming of a corrosionproof sheet to be performed with accuracy by providing a frame in such a manner that it passes a carrier line, and then providing a copying device including a copying roller on the frame so that it is enabled to move in the direction it intersects perpendicularly to the carrier line, and further moving a side trimmer, which is provided with a cutter and a scraper, in response to the movement of the copying roller. CONSTITUTION:A frame 2 is provided in such a manner that it passes a carrier line for a steel sheet pile A, on which a corrosionproof sheet is placed, and then, on the frame 2 is provided a copying device, which is enabled to move in the direction it intersects perpendicularly to the carrier line. With the copying device is in contact a roller 6b so that it is enabled to adjust a space sandwiching the steel sheet pile A. Accordingly, the copying machine is moved synchronically with the lateral movement of the steel sheet pile A. On the copying device are provided a cutter 12b and a scraper in the rear of it, and the corrosionproof sheet is always cut at a prescribed position before it is torn off. Thereby, the position of trimming can always be made correct by following the lateral movement of the steel sheet pile A.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a high-strength rail by immersing a high-temp. rail having the heat above the austenite region temp. successively into two fused salts which stir and flow in respectively different temp. regions thereby transforming untransformed austenite to pearlite. CONSTITUTION:The high-temp. rail which is subjected to hot rolling or is heated for the purpose off a heat treatment and has the heat above the austenite region temp. is treated as shown in the figure: Said high-temp. rail is immersed and cooled for the prescribed time in a 1st cooling tank of the fused salt bath which is heated and melted to stir and flow in the temp. range of the Ms point or above - about 600 deg.C. The rail is in succession immersed into a 2nd thermostatic chamber of the fused salt both which is set in the temp. range to permit termination of the transformation of the untransformed austenite including the segregated part to pearlite in the shortest time and stirs and flows. The pearlite transformation including the segregated part is quickly terminated. As a result, the micromartensite which is liable to be formed by the segregation in particular over the entire surface of the rail is thereby entirely eliminated and the high- strength rail having the pearlite structure is obtd.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make positioning of a sheet material of section steel or a steel pipe reliable and to improve productivity, by deforming the sheet material into a form after a coating surface of the section steel by a premolding mechanism provided on a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:A portal frame 1 of a premolding device is arranged by crossing over a pass line of a carrying device B such as a conveyor conveying a steel sheet pile A in about a horizontal direction. A copying device 2 is hung from a frame 1 by inserting two supporting rods 2a provided on the top of the copying device 2 through a supporting fittings 1a of the bottom of the frame 1. On the one hand, turning output of an electric motor 6 arranged within the copying device 2 is transferred to a lower feed roll 4b by a chain 6a. Then a sheet material S is fed from the outside so that the sheet material S is passed through and the sheet material S is carried to a downstream side. The premolding mechanism 10 deforming the sheet material S so as to model after a surface form of the steel sheet pipe A which has been kept conveying and holding the sheet material S so as not to slip the same out of the pass line is arranged on the copying device 2.

摘要： PURPOSE:To manufacture a rail having high strength and superior wear resis tance by alternately jetting sprayed water and gas on the head of a rail kept at a specified high temp. until the rail is cooled to a temp. at which pearlitic transformation is completed and by cooling the rail at an arbitrary cooling rate. CONSTITUTION:Sprayed water and gas are alternately jetted on the head of a rail kept at >=700 deg.C at the end of hot rolling or heated to >=700 deg.C so as to carry out heat treatment until the rail is cooled to a temp. at which pearlitic transformation is completed. The cooled rail is then cooled to a low temp. at an arbitrary cooling rate. Thus, a rail having a desired fine pearlite structure over the whole cross-section is efficiently and stably obtd. The rail has high strength, superior wear and damage resistances.
