CONSTITUTION:Ultrasonic level systems 1, 2 are provided to the upper part of an ore storage tank 11, and the inventory level of ores or the like in the ore storage tank is measured at two points in the radial direction in the vicinity of the center part and the side wall part of the ore storage tank. The heap shape of the ores or the like which is sorted in the ore storage tank is judged by obtaining the difference between the measured values a, b. In particular, when the ores or the like are carried out of the ore storage tank, the center part gets depressed to form a recessed shape, and the degree of the recess can be known from the difference between the measured values, and the recess is eliminated when the value of the recess exceeds the pre-determined reference value. Thus, the compressed air is ejected into the tank from ore-storage tank compressed air reservoirs 3-8 which are provided stepwise on the outer side wall of the ore storage tank to collapse the ores or the like on the wall surface of the ore storage tank, leading to elimination of the recess in the center part of the ore storage tank.

    • PURPOSE:To stably improve the air permeability of a sintering layer and to improve the productivity by impressing magnetic field at the bad air permeable position obtained from the air permeable information in the height direction of sintering layer and acting magnetic floating force to sinter cake at the upper layer. CONSTITUTION:Sintering raw material charged into a pallet 2-1 in a sintering machine 2 from a surge hopper 1 through a charging device 3 is ignited on the surface with an ignition furnace 4 together with progressing of the pallet 2-1 and the combustion gas is sucked downward to execute the sintering.     • PURPOSE:To unify the heat history of a material upon calcining and improve the cold strength as well as the yield of sintered ore by a method wherein the title device is provided with a classifying device, consisting of a plurality of rod bodies arranged in parallel to the flow direction of the material, between a drum feeder, supplying sintering materials, and a chute. CONSTITUTION:A classifying device 9, consisting of a plurality of rod bodies 8 arranged in parallel to the flow direction of materials 5, is provided between a drum feeder 3 and a chute 4. A plurality of stages of the classifying device 9 is preferably provided so that the rod bodies 8 are arranged with up-and-down and left-and-right spaces between each others along the inclination of the chute 4. The materials 5, dispersed by the classifying device 9, are collided against each other and are dispersed further, then, are charged into a pallet 6 through the chute 4. Under the process of charging, bulk materials 5 are loosened perfectly and are charged uniformly in the widthwise direction of the pallet while classifying effect on the chute 4 is maintained stably and the segregation of grain size as well as carbon in the direction of the height of a sintering bed may be maintained stably.

    • PURPOSE:To produce sintered ore having good quality with high productivity by using an approach chute, slit chute, lower chute, and deflector chute to constitute a sintering raw material charging device of a sintered ore producing plant and providing scrapers to the respective chutes. CONSTITUTION:The sintering raw materials in a hopper 2 are laminated with a drum feeder 3 on a moving pallet 4 of the sintered ore producing plant by a charging chute 9 consisting of the approach chute 5, the slit chute 6, the lower chute 7 and the deflector chute 8 provided to a raw material falling part from the slit chute 6. The scrapers 17, 18 which slide vertically are mounted to the approach chute 5 and the deflector chute 8 and a comb tooth-shaped scraping plate 19 which moves transversely is mounted to the slit chute 6. The scraper 20 which slides transversely is mounted to the lower chute 7. The sintering raw materials sticking to the respective chutes are efficiently removed by the scrapers. In addition, the raw material layers having the grain size segregation and carbon segregation optimum for sintering conditions are formed on the pallet 4. The sintered ore having the excellent quality is thus produced with good productivity.

    • PURPOSE: To achieve an even firing by a method wherein side burners at both end parts are arranged on the side of a ore supply device from the trains of burners at the center while being installed parallel with the inclination of an internal wall of a pallet for transferring material to ignite the surface of the material thoroughly in an ignition furnace. CONSTITUTION: In this ignition furnace 11, a plurality of burners 6 are arranged across the width in the furnace and side burners 7 and 7 provided at both end parts out of them are arranged on the side of an ore supply device from the installing position of the burners 6 while being tilted parallel with the inclination of an internal wall 10 of a pallet 8 for transferring sintering material. The ignition furnace 11 is made up of a frame 1, a ceiling 2 thereof, a side wall 3 thereof, a front wall 4 and a partition wall to partition the ignition furnace 11. In this case, it is desired that the side burners 7 are arranged 400-800 mm on the side of the ore supply device from the burners 6, at 35 deg.-40 deg. to the verticality. The flame radiating distance to the surface of material 9 is set 400-600 mm so that the end of a burner flame is 10-50 mm closer to the center from the internal surface of the internal wall of the pallet.

    • PURPOSE:To carry out casting bed desiliconization with high treating effect by branching a treating agent charge means into the inside and the outside of a dust collecting hood, charging the agent from the outside at the beginning, and changing over the charge to the inside when the circulation in a trough becomes obstructed. CONSTITUTION:In casting bed desiliconization, a treating agent 7 is firstly charged from a charge chute 5'' provided at the outside of a dust collecting hood 4, and an inside chute 5' is closed with a damper 10. Since the treating agent 7 is charged into molten iron 6 at a distance from the leading end 11 of a trough, the treating agent 7 is never sucked into the dust collecting hood 4. When slag 8 begins clogging a trough 1, the treating agent 7 is charged from the inside chute 5' by changing over the damper 10. Accordingly, since the treating agent 7 is charged at the leading end 11 of the trough, a hood 12 at the leading end is provided in the hood 4 to prevent the loss of the treating agent 7 due to suction into the hood 4. When the circulation in the trough 1 returns to normal, the agent is again charged from the outside chute 5''.
