    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for cleaning gasified gas, by which the adsorption capacity is effectively recovered and a maintaining gas-cleaning performance of the apparatus is achieved, even when the adsorption capacity is decreased by adsorbing high-boiling hydrocarbon compounds in gasified gas. SOLUTION: A gasified gas obtained by thermally decomposing organic waste or solid organic matter such as coal is cooled to a temperature of 60°C or lower to remove water mist, tar components of a liquid hydrocarbon, and solid dusts included in the cooled gasified gas, before the gas is passed through activated carbon adsorption device 1 composed of activated carbon adsorption columns 1a and 1b. The cooled gasified gas is then heated, and passed through the activated carbon adsorption device 1. Feed of the gasified gas is interrupted and steam is fed to those adsorption columns the adsorption capacity of which is decreased due to the adsorption of high-boiling hydrocarbon compounds to release the high-boiling hydrocarbon compounds. The released high-boiling hydrocarbon compounds are discharged to the steam side as waste steam. After the adsorption capacity is restored, feed of the gasified gas is resumed.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gasification melting treatment method capable of gasifying and melting waste by heat quantity possessed by the waste, and capable of recovering metal as a valuable without melting it, in treatment of the waste.
      SOLUTION: In this waste gasification melting treatment method, the waste is gasification-treated by a shaft furnace type gasification furnace 1, and thermal decomposition residues are discharged from a furnace bottom part. The vicinity of the furnace bottom part of the shaft furnace type gasification furnace 1 is provided with a combustion melting furnace 16, a furnace bottom part of the combustion melting furnace 16 and the furnace bottom part of the shaft furnace type gasification furnace 1 are communicated, powdery substance obtained by removing metals from the thermal decomposition residues 14 discharged from the furnace bottom part of the shaft furnace type gasification furnace 1 and crushing them are combusted and melted in the combustion melting furnace 16, and combustion exhaust gas thereof is introduced to a thermal decomposition zone of the shaft furnace type gasification furnace 1 to set it as a drying/thermal decomposing heat source.
