摘要： The present invention relates to a polyolefincovered steel product and more particularly to a polyolefin-covered steel product, for use in a steel structure, having excellent impact resistance, flaw resistance and resistance to abrasion by littoral drift. The polyolefin-covered steel product comprises a steel product which has been subjected to surface treatment, and having laminated onto the treated surface, a modified polyolefin resin layer and a polyolefin resin layer, characterized in that the surface of the polyolefin resin layer is further covered with a fiber cloth to which a modified polyolefin resin has been laminated.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain steel excellent in applicability, in which peeling from the edge part of a corrosion protective covering is prevented and having impact properties and corrosion protecting properties by providing the whole face or a part of a corrosion protective covering layer in which a substrate treatment, a primer layer, a polyurethane or polyolefine layer are laminated on the surface of the steel with a corrosion protective covering of a fiber reinforcing thermosetting resin and covering the edge part of the corrosion protective covering with a cover connected with the steel. SOLUTION: On the surface of steel 1 subjected to substrate treatment, a primer layer 2 and a polyurethane layer or a polyolefine layer 3 contg. an adhesive layer are laminated. A fiber reinforcing thermosetting resin 4 is successively laminated on the whole face or a part of the surface of the corrosion protective covering layer 3, and the edge part of the protective covering is covered with a cover 5 directly connected with the steel to obtain steel applied with heavy corrosion protective covering having high strength with an edge cover. In this way, impact is not directly applied to the edge part of the protective covering by the fiber reinforcing thermosetting resin, even in the case peeing is generated in the edge part, it does not progress to a degree equal to or above the gap with the cover 5, and even in the case impact is applied to the edge part, the falling of the covering is hard to be generated.

摘要： PURPOSE: To enhance water-resistant adhesiveness by simple coating by coating the surface of a steel pipe subjected to substrate treatment with an ethylene/ ethyl acrylate copolymer through an epoxy primer layer. CONSTITUTION: Blast treatment is applied to the outer surface of a steel pipe 1 composed of carbon steel to remove scale and, further, chromate treatment is applied to the steel pipe as substrate treatment. An epoxy primer layer 2 consisting of an epoxy resin, pigment and a curing agent is formed on the outer surface of the treated steel pipe 1 and an ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer layer 3 is formed on the outside of the epoxy primer layer 2. When a disaster preventing measure against a fire is required, a fire retardant is added to the ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer. The thickness of the ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer layer 3 is pref. about 0.5-8mm.

Colored polyethylene has density of 0.930-0.940 and a melt index of 0.10-0.40 when impact resistance at extremely low temp. is required and contains 0.1-7wt.% of pigment.

At this time, angular packing holding rings 9 are fixed to fixed stoppers 5 disposed on both end parts of the sheath pipe 3 by bolts 8. Slide packing force-in rings 7 are fitted to the forward ends of both main pipes 1, 2. A fixed packing force-in ring 6 as a stopper is welded on the sheath pipe 3. Further, a corrugated packing 4 is inserted in a gap between the angular packing holding ring 9 and the slide packing force-in ring 7. The corrugated packing 4 is deformed at the central part of a bent groove to swell the angular part, so that surface pressure is generated at the edge part and the valley part.

As for polyolefin, polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutane, or a copolymer of (alpha-olefin such as ethylene and propylene, 1-butene, 1-hexene, 4-methyl-1- bentene, 1-octane or the like is used, and as for modified polyolefin, bonding polyolefin which is polyolefin modified by unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride is used. In that case, as the base treatment of the steel pipe chromate treatment 2 is applied on the outer surface of the steel pipe, and then epoxy primer treatment 3 is applied.
