摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable formation of a cupped or an annular parts having large reduction of cross-section even in the case of being the blank having high strength and to lengthen the life of tools such as an extruding punch or the like. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of the annular parts has a preliminary extruding process for extruding the cylindrical blank 1 into a first cupped parts 3 having smaller inner diameter than the inner diameter of the annular parts, a main extruding process for extruding the first cupped parts into a second cupped parts 7 having the same inner diameter as the inner diameter of the annular parts and a punching-out process for punching out the bottom part 7A of the second cupped parts to form the annular parts 11, in order. Further, an extruding punch used in the main extruding process in this manufacturing method, has a large diameter part having the outer diameter for forming the inner diameter of the annular parts and a small diameter part having smaller outer diameter than the inner diameter of the first cupped parts at the tip part, and the tip part shapes smoothly connected with arc-state to each of the large diameter part, small diameter part and the tip end surfaces and the side surfaces thereof are provided.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the roll-over and the circularity of a cut piece, to reduce the roll-over quantity at the end face of a product, and to improve the yield of the material by setting the maximum hardness position in the section of the steel wire to be in the prescribed position, reducing the hardness from this position toward the center of the steel wire, and specifying the surface hardness increase ratio. SOLUTION: The maximum hardness area V in the section is set at the position within 1/10 of the radius (r) of the steel wire from the surface of a steel wire 11, and the area toward the center side from this area is set to be the area W where the hardness is dropped. The surface hardness increase ratio ((H-Q)/Q)×100% is set to be 15-30%, where H is the maximum hardness, and Q is the hardness at the position of r/2 from the surface. Only the hardness of the surface of the steel wire is increased, the circularity and the roll-over of the cut piece is improved, the roll-over quantity at the end face of a product after the cold forging can be sufficiently reduced, the cutting cost of the roll- over is reduced, and the yield of the material is improved.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the wear resistance and machinability of a steel and to minimize the change of the dimensions after quenching and tempering by allowing it to have a specified compsn. contg. C, Cr, Si, V, Mo, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. SOLUTION: This cold tool steel contains, by weight, 1.10 to 1.35% C, 9.00 to 12.00% Cr, 0.10 to 0.30% Si, 0.20 to 0.45% V, 1.00 to 1.35% Mo and 6.0 to 10.0 Cr/C by weight ratio. By regulating the contents of C, Cr and Si and the ratio of Cr/C to the above ranges, its machinability is made satisfactory, and by incorporating 0.04 to 0.17% S as well, it is moreover improved. Furthermore, by regulating the contents of C and Cr and the ratio of Cr/C to the above ranges, its wear resistance improves. Moreover, by regulating the ratio of Cr/C and the contens of V and Mo to the above ranges, the maximum change of the dimensions in heat treatment is improved, and by regulating the contents of Si and Mo and the ratio of Cr/C to the above ranges, the anistropy in the change of the dimensions in heat treatment can also be improved.
