    • PURPOSE:To increase the release rate of phosphorus and to remove efficiently the phosphorus in waste water by admitting part of feed water into a dephosphorization tank in the stage of migrating the phosphorus in the feed water by using an aeration method into activated sludge and releasing the phosphorus in the excess sludge in the dephosphorization tank. CONSTITUTION:The feed water contg. the phosphorus is admitted into an aerobic tank 11 and the raw water subjected to an aerobic treatment is subjected to a solid- liquid sepn. in a settling tank 12. The supernant liquid is released as treated water and part of the sludge is returned to the aerobic tank 11. Part of the remaining sludge is discharged to the dephosphorization tank 13 and the further remaining sludge is discharged as excess sludge to the outside of the system. Part of the feed water is admitted into the tank 13. An anaerobic state is maintained in the dephosphorization tank where the phosphorus in the sludge is quickly released. The waste water contg. high-concn. phosphorus in the tank 13 is discharged to a mixing tank 14 by using a detergent liquid. Lime, etc. are added to the waste water to insolubilize the phosphorus in the waste water in said tank and thereafter the water is subjected to the solid- liquid sepn. in the next settling tank 15. The supernatant liquid thereof is released as the treated water and the sludge is discharged to the outside of the system.

    • PURPOSE: To purify and regenerate a closed water area, by sending a surface water layer rich in dissolved oxygen and having high temp. into a low water layer poor in dissolved oxygen and having low temp. and, at the same time, pumping up water from the low water layer to the surface of water to recirculate the whole of the closed water area.
CONSTITUTION: The surface water layer rich in dissolved oxygen sent into an outer pipe 1 by a water feed apparatus 6 is diffused throughout a low water layer while the heat exchange with the low water layer is attained by a radial skirt 3 to be mixed therewith under aeration to eliminate oxygen deficiency of the low water layer. Further, air bubbles are collected by an air raising skirt 4 to be raised through an inner pipe 2 and the low water layer is raised to the surface layer side to be aerated on the surface of water. By this method, a closed water area can be recirculated and aerated as a whole and can be purified and regenerated. The temp. distribution of the surface layer side and the low layer side can be held to a natural state by heat exchange.

    • PURPOSE: To supply efficiently air into a closed water basin and to purify water by blowing air into a water-pumping pipe to sent low-layer water upward into a settling vessel floated on the water, and aerating the water after passing through a settling and circulating passage formed by a partition wall, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A settling vessel 1 is floated on the water surface 100 of a closed water basin such as lakes and marshes, and a water-pumping pipe 3 piercing through the bottom surface of the vessel 1 and whose upper end is opened to the inside of the settling vessel 1 is provided to the settling vessel 1 and hung in the water. Air is blown into said water-pumping pipe 3 by a blowing apparatus 5 to suck up bottom-layer water from the opening at the lower end of the pipe 3, and the bottom-layer water is pumped up into said settling vessel 1 from the opening at the upper end. The pumped-up low-layer water at a low temp. and free from oxygen is passed through a circulating passage formed by the wall of the settling vessel 1 and a partition wall 4, and nourishing salts and other suspended matter contained in the water is deposited and removed. Then the water is mixed with high-temp. surface water rich in dissolved oxygen, aerated and purified. The deposit in the settling vessel 1 is discharged periodically.

    • PURPOSE: To supply efficiently air into eutrophicated lakes and marshes and to purify water by spouting the surface water mixed with air under the freely rotatable air reservoir shell provided in an air chamber connected to the lower end of a pumping-up pipe which is hung down into the water.
CONSTITUTION: A pumping-up pipe 1 is hung down into the water by floating the upper end on the water surface side 100 with a float, etc. and anchoring the lower end to the lake bottom side 101. An air chamber 2 with the lower part opened and contg. a rotatable air reservoir shell 3 is connected to the lower end of the pipe 1. In lakes and marshes, high-temp. surface water rich in dissolved oxygen is supplied into said chamber 2 while sucking air by a water feed device 4, and spouted into the lower part of the air reservoir shell 3. At this place, the surface water is separated from air, discharged from the air chamber 2, and heat-exchanged with low-layer water which is aerated, heated, and purified. Said separated air is collected in the air reservoir shell 3 which is inverted when the amt. of collected air exceeds a specified value. The air moves upward in the pumping-up pipe 1 like a cannon ball. Consequently, the lower-layer water is sucked and discharged to the water surface 100 side, and further aerated and purified.
