摘要： PURPOSE:To improve a sound reducing effect during the travel of a train by applying vibration damping material, mainly composed of rubber, to a metal sleeper, and transmitting vibration from a rail to the sleeper. CONSTITUTION:An emulsion resin composition formed by heating and kneading a rubber component and an olefin acrylic ester copolymer under a curing agent is applied to an iron sleeper 16 so as to form a damping material layer 12 of the specified thickness, and in order to heighten the damping effect of the damping material layer 12, a cured resin layer 14 formed of thermosetting polyurethane resin composition is applied by 1mm or more onto the damping material layer 12. Oscillating energy is thereby converted into heat energy by the applied resin layer so as to manifest the vibration damping effect.

CONSTITUTION:In a drain piping system constituted of drain vertical pipe joints 3, leg part joints 5, and drain pipes 2, a vibration damping resin layer and a thermosetting resin layer are provided. The vibration damping resin layer is a compound in which vibration damping rubber (A) is combined with olefin/ acrylic ester copolymer (B) and low crystalline polyolefin copolymer (C). The weight combination ratio of respective components in this case is as follows, -(A):(B):(C)=40-90:20-5:40-5. The vibration damping rubber is rubber combined with one sort or more among butyl rubber, polyisobutylene, and 3,4-polyisoprene, and the thermosetting resin is tarurethane resin.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the title powder which has a low bulk density and an improved hygroscopicity and is excellent in the workability in kneading with various resins, hand and physical properties by treating the surface of hide powder with a polyoctenylene resin. CONSTITUTION:The surface of hide powder is treated with a polyoctenylene resin, preferably one produced by polymerizing cyclooctene and having one double bond per C8 unit, a molecular weight of 10,000 or more, a trans-content of 50% or more, and a crystallinity of 10% or more. The treating methods include one in which a polyoctenylene resin and hide powder are melt-kneaded by use of the conventional various melting and kneading devices. The surface- treated hide powder is improved in the low bulk density and hygroscopicity which are the defects of the conventional hide powder and in the workability in kneading with various resins and a synthetic leather made from the resultant mixture is more excellent in both hand feeling and physical properties than those of the conventional ones.
