摘要： PURPOSE: To accurately detect a wheel speed without being affected by cyclical disturbance regardless of the speed of a car body by operating an error value showing the cyclical change of cyclical disturbance in a predetermined gain at every sampling cycle. CONSTITUTION: A rotor 10 is rotated along with a wheel and has a large number of teeth 16 on its outer periphery. An electromagnetic pickup 12 generates voltage cyclically changed corresponding to the passage of the teeth 16 and this voltage is shaped by a waveform shaping device 18 to be supplied to an I/O port 22. In a computer 20, an error value showing the cyclical change of cyclical disturbance to be removed based on the cycle signal corresponding to a wheel speed is operated in a predetermined gain at every sampling cycle. A rotational speed is operated on the basis of the previous error value stored in an RAM 44 before one rotation of a wheel with respect to the sampling cycle of this time and the cyclical signal of this time. By this constitution, the cyclical signal corresponding to the wheel speed before one rotation is superposed on the cyclical signal corresponding to the wheel speed of this time to remove cyclical disturbance.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a device capable of acquiring information on a wheel without receiving any effect of a periodic disturbance due to car constituent elements other than the wheel. CONSTITUTION:This is a device which sets the revolving speed of a wheel on the basis of a pulse signal generated by a solenoid pickup 12, and estimates tire pressure (information on the wheel) from the revolving speed through a disturbance observer. Accordingly, on the basis of the detected results of an engine driving state detector 65 and a T/M driving state detector 66, frequency in the periodic disturbance entered in the revolving speed from the driving system is estimated, finding a difference with the proper frequency suited to the estimation of the disturbance observer, and when the difference is small, it is so judged that there is a fear of lowering the estimated accuracy, whereby any estimation by the disturbance observer is prohibited.

CONSTITUTION: For the initial setting of a tire characteristic with a signal processing device 40, a tire pressure judgment device preliminarily sets the initial value of the characteristic conforming to a standard tire, because the tire is manufactured as a standard product. Then, when the tire is changed and a driver judges that initial setting should be made, he/she is required to turn on an initial setting demand switch 20. When the switch 20 is turned on, the tire pressure judgement device detects a real resonance frequency for wheel speed, and determines the frequency as a reference resonance frequency. Also, reference tire pressure is determined as normal tire pressure, and a tire characteristic curve showing tire characteristics is determined on the basis of the reference resonance frequency and the reference tire pressure.

Also, a minute adjustment control means 22 estimates the pressure of the tire 1 obtained by subtracting at least a pressure drop of a tire pressure adjusting valve 13 from the pressure sensor 4 in the case of no air flow when pressure of the tire 1 becomes the desired pressure valve by the differential pressure estimate control means 21, and adjust the pressure control valve 6 repeatedly so that pressure coincides with the desired pressure of the tire 1. Thus, it is possible to perform adjustment of pressure in a short period of the time and achieve simplification of the structure.
