    • PURPOSE:To compensate bearing drift by simple operation by adding a value smaller than the radius of a vector circle to the vector component of detected earth magnetism and making a straight line intersect with the vector circle to determine the center of the vector circle from the coordinates of the intersecting point. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 70 is turned on, a microcomputer 50 adds a fixed value smaller than the radius of earth magnetism vector circle to the detected components of the intersecting directions of two axis x, y of the earth magnetism vectors corresponding to the bearing of a car which is outputted from a bearing detecting sensor 10. At least one straight line out of two straight lines parallel with the axis x, y passing through the added coordinate value intersects with the vector circle. Consequently, the center coordinates to the vector circle is determined simply without using the coordinates of three points on the circumference by operating a mean value of these intersecting coordinates. The detected earth magnetism vector component is compensated in accordance with the center coordinate value corresponding to the drift due to magnetization to the car body and the correct bearing of the car body is detected.

    • PURPOSE:To detect an abnormal sound of a rotary machine accurately by detecting the pressure of a sound or mechanical vibrations generated from the rotary machine in inertial rotation and by comparing an average value of peaks of a detection signal waveform with a standard value. CONSTITUTION:Generation of a magnetic sound is removed by putting a generator 1 in inertial rotation in a state of no load and a sound generated by the generator 1 is detected by a microphone 4. After the detected sound is converted into an electric signal and amplified, a superfluous frequency component is removed therefrom by a band-pass filter b and then the signal is converted into a sound pressure signal by an effective value conversion circuit 7. Out of this signal, the characteristic of a sound due to a defect, which increases and decreases synchronously with the rotation and varies fast, is outputted as a sound pressure variation signal by a high-pass filter 8 and inputted to an arithmetic control element 10. The control element 10 calculates the average of peak values of a signal waveform and compares it with a standard value. When the average value is larger than the standard value, judgement is made as abnormal and a lamp 14 is lighted. Thereby an abnormal sound of a rotary machine can be detected accurately.

    • PURPOSE:To easily execute reset-to-zero operation without lossing the external appearance of a device by using the torque of a magnetic magnetically rotated by turning on a reset-to-zero switch and resetting a number indication ring to zero through a reset-to-zero cum engaged with the reset-to-zero lever. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic field forming part 3 forms a magnetic field by a command outputted from a reset-to-zero command part 2 to rotate the magnetic 1 by a prescribed angle in a prescribed direction. At that time, torque generated by the rotation of the magnet 1 is transmitted to the reset-to-zero lever 6 through a transmission mechanism part 4 to rotate the lever 6. As the result, the lever 6 engages with a reset-to-zero lever 7 to reset-to-zero the number indicating ring 8. In the case of fixing a trip counter, the reset-to-zero operation can be easily executed without lossing the appearance of the fixing position and the working tone of reset-to-zero operation can be reduced.
