    • PURPOSE: To check an uncomfortable variation in engine speed, by compensating each compensation variable adjustably so as to set the sum total of compensation variables for a fuel injection quantity to be compensated at each cylinder of an internal-combustion engine down to nearly zero.
      CONSTITUTION: At a step 302, the sum total S=ΣQi of injection quantity correction items Qi for each cylinder is calculated. Next, at a step 303, if an absolute value |S| is smaller than a threshold value δ, a process comes to an end without doing nothing as it is. If the absolute value is larger than the threshold value δ, it goes forward to the next step 304 in order to add a compensation value to the injection quantity correction item Qi. At steps 304W306, according to positive and negative codes of the said sum total S, a fixed compensation value Δ is added or subtracted to or from each injection quantity correction item Qi. As a result, the absolute value |S| of the sum total S of injection quantity correction items Qi is compensated so as to be reduced. Thus, an uncomfortable variation in engine revolution is checked.

    • PURPOSE:To secure safe revolution by temporarily suspending the correction learning and correction control for injection amount when the variation rate of the number of engine revolution is over a certain value and by releasing said suspension when a certain or more of the revolution signals considered as normal are continuously inputted. CONSTITUTION:During engine operation, a computer 9 calculates the fuel injection amount optimum in the engine-operation state which momently varies on the basis of the output signals of an engine revolution speed detector 8 and an accelerator stepping-in amount detector (load sensor) 10. In order to correct the distribution of the generated torque in each cylinder, the injection amount in each cylinder is learning-corrected. In this case, the variation rate of the number of engine revolution is calculated, and it is judged that the variation rate is over a certain value or not. When the judgement is YES, the detected revolution signal is considered as abnormal, and correction learning and correction control are suspended temporarily. When a certain number or more of the revolution signals considered as normal are continuously input, correction learning and correction control are restarted.
