摘要： PURPOSE: To securely optically transmit data to a reception device even if the position of the reception device of an information processor is not recognized. CONSTITUTION: Information which is read is transmitted by optical signals in respective directions by plural light-emitting means. In a bar code reader 4, an infrared light emitting element optically-transmits data which is read in a front direction, a left direction, a right direction, an upper direction and a back direction. Thus, a register 6 can receive the optical signal from one of the infrared light emitting elements in spite of the posture of the bar code reader 4. An operator is not necessary to constantly consider the posture of the bar code reader 4 against the register. Even if the operator freely moves the bar code reader a free posture, executes the read work of the bar code 8 and optical-transmission is executed in the posture as it is, data can precisely be transmitted to the register 6 and read work can considerably efficiently be executed.
