摘要： A method includes the steps of: adding an organic surface cross-linking agent to a water absorbent resin having a cross-linked structure; adding a liquid permeability improving agent to the water absorbent resin concurrently with or after the addition of the organic surface cross-linking agent; and then adding a lubrication improving agent to the water absorbent resin. This provides a particulate water absorbing agent and a method for producing it, the particulate water absorbing agent being suitable for pneumatic transportation, suffering no decrease in the effect of the liquid permeability improving agent, and excelling in properties such as fluidity and damage resistance after the pneumatic transportation.

摘要： The disclosed continuous manufacturing method for a water-absorbing resin includes a plurality of connected continuous steps. Said method includes: a polymerization step in which an unsaturated monomer in an aqueous solution is polymerized; a drying step in which a water-containing cross-linked granular polymer gel, obtained in a microgranulation step during or after polymerization, is dried; a post-drying pulverization step; a post-drying sorting step; and a surface-treatment step, after the sorting step, in which a water-absorbing resin powder is subjected to a surface treatment. Said method is characterized in that, with some of the above steps kept running, the other steps are halted, and subsequently all steps are restarted.

摘要： We have found that to improve the heat retention by diapers and other absorbents, a heat retention indicator 1 of a water-absorbing resin which is defined in the present invention needs be 3.0oC/min or less and also that particular requirements need be met to satisfy this condition. If the requirements are met, a water-absorbing resin, absorbent, and absorbent article can be provided which has a heat retention indicator 1 of 0 to 3.0oC/min or less and which exhibits excellent heat retention and absorption.

摘要： A sheetlike absorbent material is produced by reducing the water content of a hydrogel of a hydrophilic cross-linked polymer under pressing (milling) and feeding. A gel composition comprising, for example, a hydrogel containing a cross-linked poly(meth)-acrylic acid (salt), glycerol (polyhydric alcohol), and polyester fibers (molding assistant) onto a dryer drum on the upperstream side of a press roller, whereby the gel composition is pressed (milled) and heated by the press roller to give a sheet with at least one surface thereof smoothed. The absorbent material produced by the above process is excellent particularly in absorption characteristics such as absorption speed and absorption factor under pressure and shape retention.

摘要： The purpose of the present invention is to provide a process for stably and continuously producing a water-absorbing resin, specifically a process for stably and continuously producing a water-absorbing resin which includes a step for efficiently and persistently absorbing a gas discharged from the step of producing the water-absorbing resin. A main point of this process for producing a water-absorbing polyacrylic acid (salt) resin is that the process further includes either a step in which a gas discharged from the step of producing the water-absorbing polyacrylic acid (salt) resin is absorbed into water having a pH of 7-11 and having a content of polyvalent-metal ions of 100 ppm or less or a step in which the gas is absorbed into water obtained by mixing water having an electric conductivity at 25°C of 500 (µS/cm) or less with an alkali compound to regulate the pH to 7-11.

摘要： A water absorbent resin having less fine powder or powdery dust and a controlled particle size is provided, and the water absorption rate of the water absorbent resin is increased by a simple method at low cost, while maintaining or improving other physical properties such as liquid permeability. Disclosed is a method for producing a polyacrylic acid (salt)-type water absorbent resin powder, which includes, in sequence, a step of polymerizing an aqueous solution of acrylic acid (salt)-type monomer; a step of gel-crushing a gel of a water-containing gel-like crosslinked polymer during polymerization or after polymerization; a step of drying the water-containing gel-like crosslinked polymer; and a step of pulverizing and classifying the dried polymer, wherein water absorbent resin fine particles having a particle size of less than 150 µm or a hydrated-particles thereof is added to a step prior to the drying step, and in the drying step, hot air drying is carried out with a hot air having an average flow velocity of 1.0 to 3.0 [m/s], a dew point of 30°C to 100°C, and a hot air temperature of 140°C to 235°C.

摘要： A process for producing a water absorbing resin powder of a cross-linked structure which has a mass average particle diameter of 300 to 600 μm and contains fine particles having a particle diameter of 150 μm or less in an amount of less than 10 mass %, which involves the steps of polymerizing an unsaturated monomer and of drying the resulting water-containing cross-linked polymer in a gel form, characterized in that it further comprises a step of irradiation of magnetic line of force wherein the water absorbing resin powder is allowed to pass through a magnetic field having a magnetic flux density of 0.05 Wb/m2 or more after the drying step. A water absorbing resin powder produced by the above process is free of a fine metallic foreign substance, and thus is suppressed in its deterioration.
