CONSTITUTION:Iron and steel wire rods are treated by the surface adjusting agent solution contg. a titanium contg. compound colloid after executing descaling treatment or descaling treatment and phosphate conversion treatment. The titanium contg. compound is composed of the reaction product of the titanium contg. compound and an alkaline phosphate. The density of the titanium contg. compound colloid in the surface adjusting agent solution is 0.001-0.5g/l expressed in terms of titanium weight. and 0.1-50g/l expressed in terms of alkaline phosphate weight.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistance of a lubrication treated film by treating a steel wire with the solution containing a chelating agent and having the specified PH value in the space between the water cleaning stage and film coating stage of a lubrication treating process. CONSTITUTION:The steel wire coil to be drawn is subjected to a lubrication treatment is the order of a pickling, water cleaning and film coating in advance. The treating stage of the water solution containing the chelating agent of a polyphosphoric acid and its alkali salt or organic acid and its alkali salt, etc. and having 6-12 PH value is added between the water cleaning stage and coating of this lubrication treatment, then, the steel wire coil is subjected to a wire drawing after performing the film coating. The oxidation of the coil in the air can be prevented due to the steel wire coil treatment being performed with the chelating agent containing water solution. Consequently, the corrosion resistance of the lubrication treated film to be formed after its treatment is improved.
