摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce manufacturing cost by manufacturing a heat-insulating material for a pipe by continuously shaping a material to a required form by a molding section mounted to an endless travelling belt. CONSTITUTION:An expanding undiluted raw solution 12 in a synthetic resin foam continuously fed to the start end section of a flat section 2 from a discharge nozzle 10 under the state in which an endless travelling belt 1 to which mold release treatment is executed is made to travel is transferred to a molding section 8 while it continues a gas blowing reaction on the flat section 2, and the gas blowing reaction is completed in the molding section 8. The gas blowing reaction is completed, the synthetic resin foam is separated from the molding section 8, and further transferred, and a cutter 9 is operated and the synthetic resin foam is cut when the foam reaches to a predetermined length, thus continuously manufacturing a heat-insulating material for a pipe. The strength and dimensional stability of the heat-insulating material for the pipe to be obtained are improved because the synthetic resin foam is bonded by utilizing self-adhesive properties.
