摘要： This invention relates to a circumcision device. More, specifically, the invention relates to a clamping ring that is clamped to the foreskin of a patient's penis during a circumcision procedure, the clamping ring acting to reduce bleeding during the circumcision procedure and to, post-procedure, aid in the healing of the foreskin. The invention extends to an applicator tool (30, 50) for at least clamping the clamping ring to the foreskin. The clamping ring of the circumcision device includes a first ring (10) defining a plurality of bores (12), a second ring (20) including a plurality of posts (22) and securing formations (24) on the ends of each of the posts sized and shaped for engaging the bores (12) of the first ring (10), thereby to secure the first and second rings to each other such that in a secured condition, clamping faces (14, 28) on each of the respective first and second rings clamp the foreskin therebetween and are axially movable relative apart from one another by no more than between 0,02 milimeters and 0,05 milimeters.
