    • PURPOSE:To connect a connector guide to either a female side or a male side corresponding to the using convenience, by providing a male side connector, a female side connector, and the connector guide having an intermediate member which can connect and disconnect the connectors. CONSTITUTION:This connector has a female side electrode connector 1, a male side output connector 2 connected to an electric stinulus device, and a connector guide 3. The connector 1 is fixed to one ends of electric cables 4, and the cables 4 are connected to an electrode buried in the body of a patient. The connector 2 is fixed to one ends of cables 5 which transmit a stinulus signal to stimulate electrically through the electrode buried in the body of the patient. To the connector guide 3, a hollow 33 to receive the connector 1 and the connector 2 is formed, and projections 33 and 31 corresponding to the long groove of the connector 1 and the long groove of the connector 2 are provided on the inner wall of the hollow so as to assist the insertion of the connectors. The guide 3 can be connected and disconnected either to the female side connector 1 or the male side connector 2, and as a result, the patient can select an optimum using convenience to him by himself.

    • PURPOSE: To make it possible to prevent the failure and contact defect of covers by affixing rubber materials respectively to the opposite surfaces of the covers holding electrodes and affixing double coated adhesive tapes to at least either one of the opposite surfaces of these rubber members. CONSTITUTION: The double coated adhesive tapes 17 are affixed to the rubber materials 16 affixed to the lower and upper cover 2, 3 by parting these tapes from each other apart a spacing slightly smaller than the diameter of the electrodes 15. The electrodes 15 housed in a connector 4 are bonded and temporally fixed in one row onto the double coated adhesive tapes 17 by providing the electrodes with suitable variations to prevent the upper and lower electrodes from overlapping on each other. The upper cover 3 is thereafter put on the lower cover 2 and the holes 11 of the upper cover 3 are engaged with projecting bodies 6 of the lower cover 2, by which the upper cover 3 and the lower cover 2 are fixed. The electrodes 15 are then clamped by the double coated adhesive tapes 17 by which the electrodes 15 are finally fixed. The electrodes 15 are elastically held by the rubber materials 16.

    • PURPOSE:To reconstruct stand-up and sit-down by controlling a switch by a paraplegia patient's own fingers even while the patient is holding parallel bars or the like by his both hands in an electrical stimulating device for electrical stimulating the paralytic part of the body to reconstruct the vital function. CONSTITUTION:This control inputting device is provided with an operating switch 2 which can be operated by a thumb, and this operating switch is arranged at a belt position so as to be operable while the patient is holding parallel bars or the like, and also provided with a stretching belt 1 by which the patient can hold a thing even being wound on to the hand. Thus, the paraplegia patient can operate the switch 2 even while supporting his own body by his both hands, and when an electrical stimulating device is used in combination with this control inputting device, reconstruction of the patient can enable him to stand-up and sit-down by electrical stimulation by himself.
