摘要： In accordance with some embodiments, a fixed function media accelerator may be preempted in the middle of processing one frame of data and still be able to resume operation later without the need to save an internal state. This ability to be preempted, without saving an internal state, may be important for supporting page fault and increasing the responsiveness of fixed function engines. Enabling preemption without the need to save the entire state reduces the complexity of the implementation in some embodiments.

摘要： A deactivated passive user interaction sensor may be activated or deactivated on demand based on an expected use of the sensor. The expected use may be ascertained by detecting a predetermined user interaction at another sensor that is already active. Once the predetermined user interaction is detected, the active sensor may be deactivated and the sensor that is expected to be used may be activated. Total sensor power consumption may be reduced by providing a predetermined sensor activation and deactivation sequence for at least three sensors in a computing system based on predetermined user interactions with an active sensor. Methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer readable media are provided.

摘要： A 3-D camera is disclosed. The 3-D camera includes an optical system, a front-end block, and a processor. The front-end block further includes a combined image sensor to generate an image, which includes color information and near infra-red information of a captured object and a near infra-red projector to generate one or more patterns. The processor is to generate a color image and a near infra-red image from the image and then generate a depth map using the near infra-red image and the one or more patterns from a near infra-red projector. The processor is to further generate a full three dimensional color model based on the color image and the depth map, which may be aligned with each other.
