摘要： A hydraulic motor and a hydraulic pump are interconnected by a closed hydraulic circuit. A lubricating chamber is defined around the sliding surfaces of the swash plate and the plungers of at least one of the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor. A shuttle valve has two input ports connected to respective oil passages, the shuttle valve being shiftable to connect the one of the oil passages which is of lower oil pressure to the output port of the shuttle valve when the differential pressure between the oil passages is relatively large. A first relief valve is opened to communicate the output port to the lubricating chamber when the oil pressure in the output port exceeds a first pressure level. A second relief valve connected between the first relief valve and the lubricating chamber is opened when the oil pressure between the first relief valve and the lubricating chamber exceeds a second pressure level lower than the first pressure level.

摘要： A hydraulically operated continuously variable transmission includes a hydraulic motor coupled to an output shaft and having a motor swash plate and a motor cylinder supporting an annular array of slidable motor plungers held in slidable contact with the motor swash plate, a distribution member integral with the motor cylinder, a hydraulic pump coupled to an input shaft in sliding contact with the distribution member and having a pump swash plate movable with the motor cylinder and a pump cylinder supporting an annular array of slidable pump plungers held in slidable contact with the pump swash plate, a closed hydraulic circuit interconnecting the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor, the pump cylinder being coaxially surrounded by the motor cylinder with a hydraulically hermetic chamber defined therebetween, and a replenishing pump operatively coupled to the input shaft and connected to the closed hydraulic circuit through a replenishing oil passage. The replenishing oil passage partly extends in the distribution member, and the distribution member has an oil passage defined therein and interconnecting the replenishing oil passage and the hydraulically hermetic chamber. A relief valve is disposed in the oil passage in the distribution chamber, the relief valve being openable when the pressure of oil in the replenishing oil passage exceeds a prescribed level.

The control valve comprises a hydraulic chamber communicating with the supply oil passage, a spring, and a spool disposed between the hydraulic chamber and the spring. The spool is movable, until the pressure of oil in the hydraulic chamber and the force of the spring are balanced, successively from a first position in which the supply oil passage and the closed hydraulic circuit are disconnected and the supply oil passage and the oil tank are disconnected, to a second position in which the supply oil passage and the closed hydraulic circuit are connected, to a third position in which the supply oil passage and the oil tank are connected, in response to an increase in the pressure of oil in the hydraulic chamber.

摘要： An actuator has a pilot valve incorporated in a piston thereof which is slidably disposed in a cylinder tube, the piston having first and second piston lands slidably disposed in first and second coaxial cylinder chambers. A spool valve body has first and second spool lands slidably disposed in an inner hole in the piston. When the spool valve body is moved in one direction, a first axial passage in the piston communicates with a pressure sink through a first return port which is opened by the first spool land, and a second axial passage in the piston communicates with a portion of the inner hole in front of the second spool land through a second supply port which is opened by the second spool land. When the spool valve body is moved in the opposite direction, the second axial passage communicates with the pressure sink through a second return passage which is opened by the second spool land, and the first axial passage communicates with a portion of the inner hole in front of the first spool land through a first supply port which is opened by the first spool land. The spool valve body is movable under a differential pressure between two inlet ports. The pilot valve cam amplify the operating force on the piston even if the difference between applied input oil pressure is small. In addition, the actuator is compact in size.

The transmission also includes a hydraulic pump coupled to an input shaft, at least one of the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor being of the variable-displacement type, and a closed hydraulic circuit interconnecting the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor. The distribution ring is held in engagement with the fixed shaft for preventing the distribution ring from rotating with respect to the fixed shaft.
