    • PURPOSE:To enable reduction of the back pressure of a banking layer, by a method wherein a water permeable sheet is laid in a range of from the front part of the bottom part of a caisson to the upper part of the back, and the water permeable sheet, having the one end secured to the caisson, is developed in a back-filling layer to form a baning layer. CONSTITUTION:Cobble-stone 4 is banked on a replacement laeyr 3, in which a sea bottom ground 3 is replaced with cobble-stone and the like, to form a sink bed 5, and a water permeable materail 11 is laid and extended in a range of from a front 22 of a caisson 2, intended to be sunk, to a portion under a banking layer. The caisson 2 is sunk on a sink bed 5, the interior of the caisson is filled with a fill 6, and an upper surface part 23 is blocekd up. The water permeable sheet 1, the one end iof which is secured to a back 21 of the caisson 2, is about horizontaly extended, and banking layers G1-Gn are formed between the sheets 1. Further, the water permeable sheet 11 is vertically laid to the back 21 of the caisson 2. This enables decerase of an eaerth pressure exerted on the back of the caisson.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently drain water in a banking layer, by a method wherein a watert permeably sheet is laid to the back of a block and plural water permeable sheets are horizontally laid in a banking layer to guide gap water in the banking layer to the surfaces of retaining wall blocks. CONSTITUTION:A water permeable sheet 1 is laid on a foundation surface G to the back of a bse concrete 10, and base concrete blocks 2 are laid in one row on the base concrete 10. Water permeable form panels 3 are framed upright to the back of the blocks 2, and concrete D is placed to form the blocks 2 into an integral structure. A banking layer G1 is formed on the water permeable sheet 1, which is laid on the banking layer G1 and in concrete for blocks 2. The blocks 2 re built by following the same procedures to form a banking layer at the backs of the blocks. This process enables promotion of darainage of the banking laeyr and reduction of the earth pressure of the banking layer.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify construction and to build a retaining wall being excellent indraining ability, by a method wherein a retaining wall is formed,a nd afer a water permeable sheet is horizontally laid on the back of the retaining wall, soil is rolling-compacted on the sheet to orderly build banking layers between which the water permeable sheet is located. CONSTITUTION:Strut 2 are pressed in a ground, and a retaining wall panel 3 is engaged between the struts 2 to build a retaining wall A. The one end of the water permeable sheet 1 is folded back arond a locking rod 4 to secure the one end by heat fusion and bolt locking, and the one end of the sheet 1 is secured to the retaining wall A. Soil is conveyed to the back of the retaining wall A and is spread on the water permeably sheet 1 for rolling compaction to build a banking layer G1, and following banking layers are built in a similar manner as described above. This reduces an earth pressure exerted on the retaining wall, markedly improves safety of the retaining wall through prevention of fall-down of the same, enables rapid drainage of water, and enables prevention of production of an exessive gap water pressure in a banking.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of drainage of water in back-filling soil, by a method wherein the one end of a water permeable sheet group is secured to the back of a concrete retaining wall, and banking is laid between the sheets at the back of the retaining wall to form a back-filling layer. CONSTITUTION:An abutment 2 made of concrete is built on foundation piles 3, and drainage parts 4, through which water in soil is drained, are previously formed in the abutment 2. Banking Go is laid on the lowermost part of the back of the abutment 2, and a water permeable sheet 1 is laid on banking Go. A banking layer is formed, in the order of the water permeabhle sheet 11 and the banking G, at the back of the abutment 2 in a condition that the water permeable sheet 11 is located between the back of the abutment 2 and the banking. Further, the different back water permeable sheet 11 is coupled to a drainage part 2. This enables dissipation of an excessive gap water pressure in back-filling soil, and decerase of an earth pressure.
