    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a rotor core which efficiently inserts magnets into magnet holes of the rotor core, and to provide a manufacturing apparatus. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the stator core is configured, in such a manner that a shaft 23 is inserted into a shaft hole A in the rotor core 12, having the shaft hole A formed with a positioning means 21 at its inner periphery and a plurality of magnet holes C, formed in the external peripheral region of the shaft hole A; a placing pedestal 13, on which the rotor core 12 is placed while being positioned, is rotatively moved to a positive 90-degree position and a negative 90-degree position from a horizontal state, together with the rotor core 12 placed on the placing pedestal 13, by rotating an arm 40 attached to a gripping pedestal 25 for temporarily fixing the placing pedestal 13; dummy members 15, 16 having shaft holes B having the same shapes as that of the shaft hole A, the plurality of magnet holes C, and magnet holes D formed at the same positions, respectively, are made to advance toward the rotor core 12; the shaft 23 is fittingly inserted into the shaft holes B; the magnet holes D are made to coincide with those of the magnet holes C, respectively; and the magnets 17 temporarily arranged in the magnet holes D are inserted into the magnet holes C and extruded by a lengthy member 102.
