摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration apparatus enabling uniform filtration by causing uniform pressure loss at upper and lower parts of a filtration cylinder, reducing washing time and an amount of washing water by uniformly generating clogging of filter cloth at the upper and lower parts of the filtration cylinder, and providing a large amount of filtrate.
SOLUTION: In this filtration apparatus, a lot of filtration cylinders 3 comprising a support body 300 having an upper opening and filter cloth 301 covering the outer peripheries thereof are suspended in a filtration chamber 102 of a filtration tank 1 demarcated into a filtrate chamber 103 and a filtration chamber 102, and raw water of the filtration chamber 102 flows upward to be filtered, rising up through the filtration cylinders 3 and collected in the filtrate chamber 103. Straightening plates 4 are provided in the direction orthogonal to the flow of the upwardly flowing raw water in the filtration chamber 102, at least two first and second straightening plates 4A, 4B of the straightening plates 4 are juxtaposedly disposed with spaces from the lower part. The straightening plates 4 have through-holes 400 for passing the filtration cylinders 3, and spaces between the inner faces of the through-holes 400 and outer faces of the filtration cylinders 3. The through-holes 400 are formed to have a size of the space of the first straightening plate 4A at the lower position larger than the space of the second straightening plate 4B at the upper position.

SOLUTION: In this backwashing method of a filtration apparatus, a filter tank 1 is divided into a filtrate chamber 102 and a filtering chamber 101 by a partition plate, filtering cylinders 4 consisting of porous cylindrical support bodies 400 having upper openings 402 and bag-like filter cloth 401 covering outer peripheries of the support bodies 400 are suspendedly disposed in the filtering chamber 101, and raw water entering the filtering chamber 101 flows upward in the filtering chamber 101, is filtered by the filter cloth 401, rises inside the filtering cylinders 4 as filtrate, and collected in the filtrate chamber 102. Backwashing water containing fine bubbles is supplied to the filtering chamber 101 from an opposite face of a filtering face of the filter cloth 401 of the filtration apparatus with a pipe supplying backwashing water and a pipe supplying air connected thereto, for backwashing the filter cloth 401. The fine bubbles have diameters 1.10-1.25 times of an average pore diameter of the filter cloth 401.

In this case, a plurality of operating modes, which are different in one or more operating conditions selected from filtration time, backwashing time, a filtration rate and a washing rate, are preliminarily set, and the image of the surface of the filter cloth is picked up to detect a color, and the color is compared with preliminarily stored color sample data, which indicate the color of the surface of the filter cloth, to detect a restoration degree of the filter cloth after the backwashing operation is finished. Then, after the filtration-operating motion and the backwashing-operating motion are controlled in accordance with an operating mode initially set from among the plurality of operating modes, the operating mode is reset based on the result of the detection of the restoration degree.
