    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a construction period and suppress costs in a construction method in which a telescopic boom to be mounted with a construction crane is supported on stacked column members by remote control when constructing a towering structure such as a multi-storied column or tower.SOLUTION: A wind turbine tower 20 is constructed by supporting a telescopic boom 1 on support members 2 by means of a telescopic boom support device 3 assembled to the telescopic boom 1 while stacking the column members 2. The telescopic boom 1 is brought by a carrier truck 13 and the telescopic boom support device 3 is brought by carrier vehicles 11, 12 into the construction site. The telescopic boom support device 3 is assembled to the telescopic boom 1 by an auxiliary crane 14, the column member 2a of a first stage is hung and installed, and a jib crane 15 is mounted on the tip of the telescopic boom 1. Thereafter, stacking of the column members 2 is performed by the jib crane 15.
