    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell sealant having excellent characteristics such as transparency, flexibility, adhesive property, heat resistance, weather resistance, cross-linking characteristic, and extrusion moldability.SOLUTION: A solar cell sealant is characterized in that 100 pts.wt. of ethylene α-olefin copolymer satisfying following requirements a1) and a2), contains 0.01 to 1.0 pt.wt. of a low molecular weight hindered amine type light stabilizer represented by a following general formula (1) and 0.01 to 1.0 pt.wt. of a high molecular weight hindered amine type light stabilizer; and a1): a Shore A hardness measured in accordance with ASTM D2240 is 60 to 85, and a2): a MFR at 190°C and under the load of 2.16 kg measured in accordance with ASTM D1238 is 10 to 50 g/10 minutes, (in the general formula (1), R1 and R2 represent hydrogen and alkyl group, R1 and R2 may be the same or different, and R3 represents hydrogen, alkyl group and alkenyl group and so on ).

The heating temperature of the joint resin sheet is set to a temperature range in which the shear elasticity at 1 Hz of the resin constituting the joint resin sheet is equal to or less than 1.0×10Pa, and the pressure applied to the sealing glass plate is set to 45 KPa or less.
