    • PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary force from arising and as well to prevent a cargo bed from being deformed, by acting all forces arising from sections in a cargo bed tilting device of a link-mechanism combined-use type provided with a hoist cylinder, a lift plate, and a tension rod, upon one and the same axial line. CONSTITUTION:In a cargo bed tilting device thrust force F7 produced upon extension of a hoist cylinder 2 is transmitted to lift plates 3, 3 through a cross- head 4 to rotate upward a cargo bed 8 around a hinge 11. The lift plates 3 are pivotally attached to the free end of a tension rod 15 which is pivotally attached at its base end to a chassis frame 1. In this arrangement, the ends of the lift plates 3 are journalled by means of shafts 22 so that a force F7 transmitted through the cross-head 4 and forces F8 transmitted through the lift plates 3 act upon one and the same axial line. Further, there is so arranged that the resultant F9' of reaction forces F9, F9 arising from a bearing part 21 provided on the bottom part of the cargo bed 8 and the resultant F10' of forces F10, F10 arising from the bifurcated section 15a of the tension rod 15 act upon the same axial line with the center lines of the lift plates 3.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent breakage and noise due to impingement between a cargo bed and a chassis frame, by locking a rod in a hoist cylinder for rising the cago bed to a damper mechanism provided on a support plate for the cargo bed before the tilted bed is abutted against the chassis frame. CONSTITUTION:When a rod 2a having a top end pivotally attached to lift plates 3 through a cross-head 4 is extended by actuating a hoist cylinder 2 which is pivotally attached at its base end to a chassis frame, a tension force is effected in a tension rod 6 which is pivotally attached at its base end to the chassis frame and also pivotally attached to its top end to the above-mentioned lift plates 3 through a coupling shaft 7. With this arrangement the compression force of the hoist cylinder 2 acts to rotate and rise up a cargo bed pivotally attached to the rear end of the chassis frame. In this stage, the rod 2A is fitted into an engaging and releasing groove 9a in a damper member 9 constituting a damper mechanism 8 provided to the coupling shaft 7 before the cargo bed abuts against the rear end of the chassis frame, so that the cargo bed is secured at the maximum angle position.
