The gas turbine 1 includes supply piping 632 supplying the cooling air to the filter 62, branch piping 635 branched from the supply piping 632 upstream of the filter 62, and a means 71, 721, 722 calculating or estimating a flow rate of dust in the cooling air. In the gas turbine 1, when turbine starting, the supply piping 632 is closed and the branch piping 635 is opened. In the welding torch 10, both the tip 2 and shield nozzle 1 are curved, and the stomach side SS having a low curvature and the back side SS having a high curvature move upon welding along the welding direction. The flow passage is composed of: the stomach side flow passage F1 through which the shielding gas SG flows in the stomach side of the welding wire 8; and a back side flow passage F2 through which the shielding gas flows in the back side BS of the welding wire 8. Then, regarding the welding torch 10, at least in the front edge side 1a of the shield nozzle 1, the opening area of the back side flow passage F2 is set to be larger than that of the stomach side flow passage F1.
