    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner, such as a two-fluid atomization burner, capable of generating a large amount of combustion exhaust gas, using a simple composition, having no danger of generating unburnt gas or causing accidental fires, and capable of shortening flame, uniformizing the flow rate distribution of the combustion exhaust gas, or the like. SOLUTION: The burner is provided with a cylindrical combustion air passage 15, formed in a space between a two-fluid atomizer 12 and a burner outer cylinder 48 surrounding a periphery of the two-fluid atomizer; a plate (baffle) 18 partitioning the combustion air passage and a combustion space part 13; and a combustion air circulation hole 52 provided in an outer circumference side of the plate. The burner is constituted such that by blocking combustion air 50 flowing down the combustion air passage by the plate and guiding it to the outer circumference side of the plate, it is distanced from a two-fluid atomization nozzle 38, passed through the combustion air circulation hole, and sent into the combustion space part. A first cylinder 16 for combustion air supply, storage and delay, and a second cylinder 17 for stagnation prevention are provided on a bottom face of the plate.
