    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a noise from being produced in a method for drying a dry cleaner using a solvent with a low boiling point and a high gas density and a device using this method. SOLUTION: An air blower 15 is driven by a control panel 29 and a pole change motor 28 to produce an air current in a circulating air passage, and the air is heated by a heater 16 to be blown into a treating tank 12. Further, a solvent is vaporized from clothes in the tank 12, then the vapor is cooled by a cooler 17 to be condensed, and the condensate is recovered into a solvent tank 11 through a moisture separator 22. If the solvent with a low boiling point and a high gas density is used, the vaporization amount of the solvent is large and the vaporization rate is high, so that the number of rotation of the air blower 15 is large and consequently, the air volume is large, resulting in an increase in the load and, in turn, an increase in the noise. To cope with this condition, the motor 28 is controlled using the control panel 29 in the early drying period to reduce the number of rotation of the air blower 15. If the solvent vaporization rate is decreased, the number of rotation is increased.
