    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float capable of suppressing generation of rocking, making effective use of energy obtained by suppressing rocking, and erecting a structure on the top by being supported to float on the ocean.SOLUTION: There are provided: a floating body 24a that allows a wind power generation device to be erected on the top face section; a dynamic damper 24b that is installed on the floating body 24a to suppress rocking thereof; and a storage device that stores energy absorbed by the dynamic damper 24b. The dynamic damper includes: a rotating member 41 that allows a middle section in the longitudinal direction to be supported on the floating body rotatably vertically by a horizontal supporting shaft 52; a pair of weights 42 provided at each end of the rotating member in the longitudinal direction; a biasing member 43 that biases and supports the rotating member at a predetermined rotating position; and a generator that generates electric power by kinetic energy generated by relative movement between the floating body and the rotating member.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control damper which is capable of suppressing a sectional defect range generated in a joint part by the formation of a long hole, and even when a plasticized part is broken, prevents the tip of the plasticized part beyond the broken position from being completely separated.SOLUTION: The vibration control damper includes: a pair of hysteretic type damper parts 11; an intermediate part 20; and a displacement regulation part. The pair of hysteretic type damper parts 11 are arranged at both ends in the axial direction holding the intermediate part 20 therebetween. Each hysteretic type damper part 11 includes the plasticized part 12 and a stiffening part 19. The plasticized part 12 faces alternate axial force acting in the axial direction. The stiffening part 19 is provided around the plasticized part 12 and restricts the buckling of the plasticized part 12. To the intermediate part 20, one end side of each plasticized part 12 configuring the pair of hysteretic type damper parts 11 is connected, which connects the pair of hysteretic type damper parts 11 each other. The displacement regulation part regulates the expansion amount in the axial direction of the plasticized part relative to the stiffening part. In the vibration control damper 10 of this invention, each of the pair of hysteretic type dampers 11 is provided with the displacement regulation part.
