      SOLUTION: This sediment discharge device having the selective water intake function, is composed of a vertical straight pipe 22 for sucking and discharging an underwater sediment, arms 21A and 21B having one end rotatably journalized to a lower end side surface part of the vertical straight pipe 22, water intake ports 23A and 23B arranged on the other end of the arms 21A and 21B, and actuators 24A and 24B for rotating the arms; and has the water intake ports positioned in the horizontal direction when the arms rotate in the downward direction; and has the other end parts 23c and 23b of the water intake ports continuously connected to the tip 22a of the vertical straight pipe.

      SOLUTION: The floating body type selective water intake equipment is so constituted that the base end section of an intake pipe (2) is pivoted under the draft line of the floating body (1) to provide in a tiltable manner, at the same time, an intake inlet (3) opening in the horizontal direction is provided to the front end section of the intake pipe (2), the intake pipe (2) is tilted to make a pipe line as a state to be filled with water and that the intake inlet (3) is pulled up to an intake height so as to carry out water intake.

    • PURPOSE:To ensure a work environment having conditions identical with those under the atmosphere by providing a water-tight packing on an opened surface of a housing opened at its one side, and by providing a water discharge means and a removable water guide pipe in the housing so as to discharge water from an underwater structure in order to obtain a working space. CONSTITUTION:An outer shell housing 1 is opened at one side so as to have an opened surface around which an attaching plate 11 and a packing 12 are provided, and a water discharge means and a removable water guide pipe 2 having more than two ports are provided in the housing 1 so as to constitute a water cofferdam structure. The attaching plate 11 at the opened surface of the underwater cofferdam structure is fixed to an underwater structure at a predetermined position through the intermediary of the packing 12, and water is discharged from the underwater structure through the incorporated water discharge means. Then, the underwater structure is ventilated by a ventilation facility incorporated in the underwater cofferdam structure so as to obtain a working space therein having conditions identical with those under the atmosphere. With this arrangement, it is possible to carry out working even underwater in the same conditions as those under the atmosphere.
