      SOLUTION: In a steam generator (a heat exchanger) having a lower part drum (a vessel), the heat transfer tubes 13 provided in the lower part drum, and tube support plates 25 provided in the lower part drum and opened with heat transfer tube insertion holes 26 in a thickness direction, support parts 27 receiving the heat transfer tubes 13 are provided in axial middle parts of the heat transfer tube insertion holes 26 in an inner face of the heat transfer tube insertion holes 26, and an area between the support part 27 and each opening end of the heat transfer tube insertion holes 26 is an inclined plane 28 heading toward radial outer sides of the heat transfer tube insertion holes 26 as each approaches an opening end side.

      SOLUTION: The steam generator comprises a shell part, a plurality of reverse U-shaped heat conduction pipes, a supply water path having at least an opening for supplying water in the shell part, an annular path formed between the inner wall of the shell part and the outer wall of the reverse U-shaped heat conduction pipes for passing the supply water, and a steam/water separator for separating the supply water into steam and hot water. The steam generator also comprises a guide path connecting the supply water path and the annular path and containing the supply water path. The guide path guides the supply water supplied from the opening of the supply water path to the annular path, takes in the hot water separated by the steam/water separator from the inlet of the guide path, lets pass around the supply water path and guides to the annular path.

      SOLUTION: Even when water of a secondary cooling system is taken into a water supply ring main body 53 from a water supply nozzle 40 in a short time to raise level of water of the secondary cooling system in a steam generator 1000, all the amount of steam remaining in the water supply ring main body 53 is exhausted to the outside of the water supply ring main body 53 until level of water of the secondary cooling system reaches height of an upper face of the water supply ring main body 53 by providing many holes 55 for water supply on an upper part face of the water supply ring main body 53. Or, when steam remaining in the water supply ring main body 53 is cooled by water of the secondary cooling system and is shrunk, the steam is absorbed into the water supply ring main body 53 through many holes 55 to suppress "water hammer" phenomenon. Since many holes 55 are provided on the upper part face of the water supply ring main body 53, foreign matter does not drop into the steam generator 1000 through many holes 55 for water supply.

      SOLUTION: The vapor generator having the moisture separator which is structured so that liquid is separated from a liquid-gas two-phase body and steam is generated by the moisture separator by flowing the liquid-gas two-phase body through a perforated plate with a plurality of opening parts formed therein and then flowing through the vane part equipped with a plurality of vanes, and drain including the liquid is stored in a drain chamber provided below the perforated plate and the vane parts. The moisture separator is inscribed with a groove for collecting the drain including the liquid on a plate surface between the opening parts of the perforated plate.
