    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure, miniaturize the size, reduce the cost of an erector controller by enabling the erector controller to position protective segments accurately using a simple structure, and to improve assembly workability in implementing an assembly method for lining members using an erector controller. SOLUTION: Distances from ultrasonic sensors 41-44 to gripped segments S H and lined segments S F are measured as the sensors are swung. The measured swing angles θ 1 , θ 2 , θ 3 , θ 4 and distances L 1 , L 2 , L 3 , L 4 of respective sensors 41-44 are used by a level difference calculating section 52 to calculate respective vertical heights H 1 , H 2 of the segments S F , S H and a difference between both vertical heights to compute a level difference H between both segments, while a gap calculating section 53, using the above measurement, calculates respective gaps S 1 , S 2 of the segments S F , S H and the sum of both gaps to compute a gap S between both segments. The controller 20 drives and controls the erector 11 so as to reduce the level difference H and the gap S, moving the gripped segment S H to a prescribed position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
