    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling device of an elevator car, capable of improving work efficiency of work for mounting/removing illumination plates, reducing the thickness, and preventing the fall-off of the illumination plates due to the mischief of a general passenger.SOLUTION: A plurality of illumination plates 6 are slidably supported between parallel supporting rails 12, 13. In each parallel supporting rail 13, insertion holes 41 are provided which face protruded parts 22 of the illumination plate 6 in the cross direction of an illumination plate array lane 15 only when the illumination plate 6 exists at a removal position P preset on the illumination plate array lane 15. At the removal position P, the illumination plate 6 can be removed from between the parallel supporting rails 12, 13 by shifting the illumination plate 6 in the cross direction of the illumination plate array lane 15 while inserting the protruded parts 22 into the insertion holes 41.
